Lt1 in 86 t/a dash lights

Ihave an lt1 in my 86 trans am and I just bought it and am still trying to figure out everything about this swap. Well anyways the check engine light doesn't come on just like all the other lights in the gauge cluster but when I push on the brakes both of the turn signal lights glow solidly and sometimes the high beam light comes on when the headlights flip up. Any idea of where you all think the problem would be?

Re: Lt1 in 86 t/a dash lights

you, my friend, have a really bitchin electrical problem, lol. pull the fuse for the turn signals and head lights. if the problem stops, it's before your fuse probably under the dash somewhere, if the problem persists, it's after the fuse. has anybody fixed light bulb wiring lately? suggest to move post to electrical.
