Damn 92 rs/ss, that thing is sweet!

Was bone stock when i bought it aside from a jet chip, body and interior have been finished up aside from carpet which i just ordered,

custom center console, harwood show series 4" cowl, custom infinate baffle enclosure with 2 fossy 12"s sony cd, hawks 5" rear spoiler, polished tails, 3"exhaust highflow cat, no muffler, big tips, custom clear front turn signals and clear liscence plate lamps, blacked out side markers, b+m megashifter, tbi pod spacer, msd blaster coil, helicore wires, accel module, accel cap and rotor, 14x4 open element, custom paint, ppg dark bright teal metallic, with ppg bright silver pearl ghost striping grand sport vette style, and lotsa clear gm new front bumper and gfx, new resivors, some chrome, problay something else i'm forgetting right now,

Next fall i'm hoping to have it on airride and by next spring have my boze wheels and blown 406 on n2o dropped in but no guarantees, about to polish my stock wheels maybe next week.

Well here is mine.. its another RS with an identity crisis.. so far everything except the spoiler has been covered.. as far as exterior stuff goes.. so other than engine the only way to tell its an RS is the spoiler and the speedo.. engine will be coming soon, and spoiler is being put on before I have it sprayed.. it will be painted while I am on my honeymoon May 20th to the 27th.. after the paint job ill start looking for the 145mph speedo.. the paint is hawiian orchid but I had some extra pearl mixed in with it so we will just have to wait and see how she turns out.. these pics were taken today march 29th 05

92rs/ss.. thanks alot.. I can take that as a great compliment since your car is sweet!!! mine is far from done.. soon as she is out of the paint shop I will post more pictures of her.. while im showing her off I do have a question, any of you guys think it would look good with the 25th ann. stripes.. silver of course.. or would you leave it all purple.. I keep going back and forth on it and I just cant decide.. of course with the hood I would have to have them made or something.. but i wouldnt go with cheesy ones.. they would fit properly and have a full tracer all the way around, just like the factory ones.. just an idea

definately do the stripes! I have always liked them on a RAII, and the color combo youve picked would look good. im guessin youre getting the z28 spoiler and that would look good too. you would for sure have a unique car (not that it doesnt stand out already) i say do it

. . and man I love late 3rd gen verts.

now she is 350'd and the top is haggard.. i need a new one, but for the most part, she is still purty. i need to fix her... but right now performance is more important than purty... i WILL have a 300+ rwhp SMOG legal Vert... i WILL.. haha and when im done, she will be gorgeous to boot

Great thread for RS's if you like that sort of thing. To me, this thread rocks because there are some slick looking TBI cars in performance pictures.

yeah, im still TBI, workin on gettin the 083' and the LT1 cam in, then the headers and a decent tune, i think ill get there with a 454 tbi and an aftermarket intake.

Ya know, as many times as I have actually been in that car, this is the FIRST time I have noticed the white pin-stripe going down the side!!!

LOL, yup its there, it wouldnt be the same without it either, i photoshopped it out once, it looked like crap, i love that thing, when i get it re-painted im going to get that pinstriped on, rather than the sticker that it is now.. maybe have it start as the two fine lines and end up near the end of the car as a checkered flag...

Come on!!!! more RS's POR FAVOR!!! we gotta show those Z's and GTA's who's boss!!

It's hard to beat the Z-28 with fog lights.

those are all nice lookin' RS's....my first car was an '89 RS convertible....sadly the engine about blew up and had to get rid of it
