Thought you guys would like some you won't. I just put a set of BMW wheels on my camaro I got for free. wrapped in KUMHO 245/40/18's. Painting the center caps with the same color paint and have camaro centers for them.
Yes they bolt on with no mods. I thought this was friggin crazy. I heard they fit but i thought it was for the front wheel drive offset on the 93-newer
Let me know what you think, Like it or Not. but please no bad mouthing just a yey or ney

sorry you couldn't enjoy what you tried to help me finish.
Nay. But only because I think the only replacement for stock-looking wheels are Torq-Thrusts. If you like them, by all means keep them. They probably look great to you because they were free.
What year and model BMW did they come from? There's some pretty nice looking M-style knock-off wheels on Ebay now and then, and I've always loved a BBS style wheel on a 3rd gen. Something like what came on the older M5's would look pretty sweet IMO.

I thought the same on them but there the same width and offset. Not sure why but they fit in the wells like they were made for them. They are M3 wheels but not sure what model or year. i just got the center caps painted the same color so they didnt say BMW.
As far as paint goes i dont want to the car is actuall for sale. I want 2,200 woth wheels or 1,900 without. Im putting iroc wheels back on it. I already have enough projects. But it has a rebuile motor about 25k on it. and the body only has 156k. So if any one is interested. But yes the wheels do look good IMO.
anyone else running them
ALSO ther is not shinning up these wheels they are gun metal
These wheels appear to be a non-factory set from the front of an E39 M5.(99-03) BMW dimensions are 18x8 +20 offset for the front. A truly beautiful wheel especially when combined with its 18x9.5 +22 original rear...

Now those are nice.
Good looking either way.
There's lots of other neat bmw wheels out there too.

Hmmm.. Well they look fair with your camaro. Do they really fit in or do you feel any difference during driving?
I just got these installed and they fit nicely with just a little hammering in one specific part in the inside of the rear well. Longer studs are definitely on my plans too. The fronts are going in tomorrow and I read I'd be fine with a spacer. Can't wait I'm going to get the spokes powder coated or painted gold and get a center with either the factory WS6 logo and lettering or a Firebird. Mine are Breyton Magic Racing in 18x9.5!

Yup, those brakes are going to come off, they don't brake worth a crap either. The 87 Iroc has the same system (4 wheel discs) and they fade like a m-f-er on the twisting roads here.
I've got 18" intro pentias on my 77 vette, maybe I should remove 2 of them and see how they look size wise....
I have been keeping an eye out for a good replacement for my gta's and I believe these (blackened) are it (bmw's)

I think those whels are sweet. I tink they would look even better on a bird. People look at me crazy when I mention BMW wheels, but sometimes you can score them for cheap, and a lot of them look sweet!
But I also think a stock wheel should never be used as an aftermarket for another car, even ZO6 wheels, even bmw wheels
I hate the look of a stock wheel (from another car) being used as an aftermarket on our third gens. Just doesnt suite me well. Plus its what the poor kids and gangster white boi's around my area do, to look like they bought new wheels...but just took them from another stock car.
EXAMPLE, not factful:Thats like, lets say I can buy an ls manifold from a corvette which flows better than camaro's, why not just buy the aftermarket one for the corvette instead of the stock corvette manifold and use it as an aftermarket
It just bothers me and Im not sure why. Maybe its the same when people totally repaint their whole car, stock colors...just seems pointless and unoriginal. As if they couldnt think of anything more imaginable than what was used originally.
Now I understand restoring a car, now thats different, but going for aftermarket and picking up stock parts from other cars seems pointless...no matter how free it is.
Sorry about my rant, but it had to be said...the wheels look great, but on BMW's, its the reason they came on those cars and not ours...anyway. Enjoy the wheels and if you ever go for something more muscular than Beemer wheels, post up.
Yes... what are those, I need something lil bigger then my gta's....

I got the fronts today and they look like they are 18x8 while the rears are 18x19.5
