My Sh!tbox 91 Z28

Finally got the stupid thing running right... relatively speaking. It is my winter beater/DD. Specs are in the sig/sidebar.

Take a look at my signature.

*waits*

Of the cars I own it is the rusty slow sh!tbox, wouldn't you agree?

As for the wheels, they were a cheap and different solution to my needs.

well maybe relative to what you have, i still think its a nice car though. and about the wheels, i wasnt saying they were bad, i would just choose different ones personally to really set it off, the ones on there do look alright though.

I think it is great that some people approve. However, I have seen some of the most astonishingly tasteless ******* m*llet-tastic "design" execution from the membership on TGO. So if a set of factory C4 wheels don't make the grade with the masses, what do I care?

I look at your cars when I need a laugh...

Of all your cars I only like the 91 Z28. The other's just don't do it for me sans the B4C. even then I'd still take the '91, I just like 3rd gens more. So no... I don't agree.

2.25" spacers on all four corners.

The membership aren't idiots... they just lack taste. Horribly so.

There are some great 3rd Gens out there, just not mine (by comparison to my other cars).

You have a nice assortment of cars. I wouldn't mind driving any of them. Now in your sig, they all say High Mileage...or Worn Out. I am assuming that isn't quite true judging by the looks of them all.

motorheadmike is a little lost. He doesn't like his own car, but he does, no he likes his wheels more then tgo, no his car is a shitbox compared to his others and his wife likes to throw in her 2 cents...

The black car looks like a fish on all 4 spare wheels. I do like the blue z28 though, that is hardly a sh!tbox sure it may not be as quick as some of your other cars...but so what? Needs a front chin spoiler painted the rest of the car actually looks pretty clean.

So instead of jumping to conclusion about what "TGO" likes and what we do to our cars maybe you should just chill out and think before what you say.

Are you really this simple?!

A great deal of what I write is a joke, or written with proverbial "tongue-in-cheek".

My SS isn't Super Slow, my Buick really isn't a Turtle, etc. However, it amuses me to act like they are and play them down. Why? Because far too many of the fvckers on the Internet today believe God himself to have engineered their car. Get real. Get a life.

And yes, there are some HIDEOUS cars on this site. Especially those that look like the Clearance section of a Summit Catalogue blew its load on them. Top that off with some God awful wing from some other car (make or model) and a set of wheels from WalMart. Oh and don't forget the mutant hoods those are always a touch of class.

The next time I post I will be sure to make two versions: one for the quick witted and one for the dim wits.

What ever the factory stuck in the car at the time of production. Other than F&R swaybars I can't see anything that stands out as being special.

Here are the other cars for a laugh:

Re: My Sh!tbox 91 Z28

Hmm...that blue camaro with the C4 wheels is god ugly IMO. Those were the worst design of any of the vettes that I know of, even the factory 60's rally wheels were better. Oh well, to each their own. I also agree with Stevo's comment about that black car looking like a fish , nothing really special IMO, kinda like a cheap Knight Rider rip off (I hate knightrider btw).

Now the buicks, those look nice. Too bad they need some freshning up. One of those freshened up with a GN or GNX drivetrain would be the cats arse.

Its not a bad car at all bro, people have started off with a lot worse than that!!! I have a 1991 z28 350 T.P.I car to, and when i got the car it needed some body work and and new injectors and stuff along those lines....
So make sure you take care of it and dont beat on it!!!

Now the buicks, those look nice. Too bad they need some freshning up. One of those freshened up with a GN or GNX drivetrain would be the cats arse.
i love those wheels on that car. I also saw the same style wheels on a 91 formula. it looked really good! you would be suprised!

That is a great pic Karl! Where did you find it?
To answer your questions: 17x9.5s on all four corners and 275/40s.

As for the opinions on the wheels: WTF do I care what you think? (Why don't you simple fvcks get it? :dunno: ) I did not ask for them. This is a beater POS car that gets 21mpg in mixed driving conditions. It could burn to the ground right now and I would not shed a tear. Get over yourselves.

[sarcasm]ROHs and a cheap fiberglass hood now there is an original look. [/sarcasm]

Lastly, anyone who bashes on LS1 cars usually suffers from engine envy...
However, you can feel tell Natasha her car looks like a fish if you can catch her in your 3rd Gen. I tried in mine and she left me waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind last weekend.

Im not sure where I found it but I like it, its different cause it aint deep dish, wide but not deep. I think all spoke & star rims look nice, but they look all the same style no matter what brand of wheel it is.

Mike what kinda cam you got in her & engine work?

Oppinions are like a$$holes, everyone has on & they all stink.

I thought it went: Camaros are like belly buttons... everybody has one.

As for the engine in this thing:
I really don't know exactly what is in it as I bought it for a song to replace the POS rod-knocker that came in the car.

However, I can speculate:
- Stock LB9/G92 short block
- A larger roller cam that still works reasonably well with the stock computer
- Ported '87-era TPI upper and lower intakes, runners port matched
- Stock '91 throttlebody w/ air foil
- Ported iron L98 heads with stainless steel valves
- Flowtech headers, 3" cat, into a 3" single dumped

That is about it.

obviously you must care about the car in order to take pictures of it and create a thread about it. So I think ur lying.

now if you are not, i suggest you buy a honda or toyota. they are much cheaper to maintain, have lower insurance rates, and get far better gas milage.

I think you need a class in remedial spelling and grammar.

I cannot believe the lack of comprehension on this message board. Am I saying inflammatory things? YES! Why? Because it amuses me. I always wanted a 3rd Gen F-body and bought one. I didn't spend a great deal on a mint example because I didn't want one that bad. This is a throw away car that amuses me from fill-up to fill-up. Nothing more, nothing less.

Why is that so hard to understand?

You all act so butt-hurt by my "internet words". If nothing else this is why I continue to provoke you.

Buds, I am a moderator on another message board; if this is cause to ban me. So be it. It's not like they are going to take my birthday away.

The specs are in the sig (see below)... short of writing an exhaustive list.

But, here are some more pics:

It is going to look a little different this year with 325/40/17 Drag Radials out back. Last Year's performance mods made traction a bitch.

motorheadwhatever, you posted pics of your camaro and titled the thread such that you were obviously wanting some sort of response. The fact that you're off your meds and need the ****** trimmed is aparent by the reoccuring "inflamatory" responses you're giving. I"m not really sure what your issues are outside of that but luckily this great site has an unsubscribe button for threads like this.

Love the Monte and the 3rdgen looks like a good daily driver beater.

Like you, it took me about a day on this forum to realize it's like a cult where nothing bad is said about any car, ever, or the wrath of the Thirdgen Nation shall wreak havoc upon you.

im not "hurt" or offended by anything you have said or will say. I only take things seriously when they are said to my face. Your excessive sarcasm is just moronic and played out.

Attached is the best I have here at the office.

Karl,

Here you go:
MCSS: 12.7 @ 110mph on 87 octane
Buick: 12.1 @ 112mph on 94 octane and propane (it is propane injected) @ 23psi boost
LS1: 13.2 @ 105mph on 94 octane pretty much bone stock
91 Z28: To be determined.
