May be someone can help me out here. Probably a ten year old movie or so. There is a truck driver, he is being blackmaled to drive a shipment somewhere and one of the chase vehicles is a Blue Iroc. By the end of the movie it is toast.???????????????

Notice that this site is called "Thirdgen.org". So why are people posting about 1st gen and 4th gen Camaro's????? The thread even says 3rd gen Camaro's in movies. Come guys. Lets not get off track.
Anyways. I just saw a red convertible 3rd gen Camaro on Counting Cars, episode "The Car Hoarder."

You old timers might remember the NBC series from the mid-80's "Amazing Stories". There are a lot of thirdgens in the early episodes.
"Alamo Jobe" has several early firebirds with bowling ball rims
"Mummy Daddy" has the main actor stopping at a filling station. On the porch columns of the station are bowling ball hubcaps
There is also an early episode (Episode 2 - "The Main Attraction", perhaps) where the star drives an 84-ish Z28. He's a high school jock

I happened to watch House Party 5 over the weekend and to my surprise there was a 1991 Camaro RS convertible. The car actually got lots of screen time, with a make out scene in the back seat, and final drive with the girls and little burnout before they rolled credits.
Haven't seen a thirdgen in a movie in a super positive light in a long time...
Clarkson mentions the infamous $1000 Camaro from Top Gear in this clip a little after 18 minutes in. (18:16 to be exact)
The whole clip, though largely unrelated to thirdgens specifically, is worth a watch though as is the film the interview was taken from. The film is called "Love the Beast" and I'm pretty sure it's on Netflix though it's definitely worth owning. Great watch for anyone who has ever loved a car.

Dont know if its been mentioned, but in one of my fav. movies "Heat" with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, there's a black third gen Camaro on the street while they are having a shootout. I think it's an 89-90 RS if I remember right. Looks like they also shot it up. lol

That reminds my, there was a movie that came out last year - A chick flick with one it it.
At about the 1:20 mark, nice blue IROC. Not a huge fan of the song though.
In the music video for Born Again In Dixieland by Jason McCoy there is a black and gold T/A, maybe 84 ish. I just can't seem to find the video anywhere. Real good song.

There's a gray RS used in the beginning of the "Let's be cops" movie. Spoiler alert...it won't start...and it gets a little front end damage. The movies always seem to make the third gens look bad.

Just watched a movie called "A most violent year" and in the opening scene there is a third gen camaro. Funny thing is the movie is suppose to take place in 1981.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but "Earth to Echo" one of the main charicter's brother drives a black 3rd gen Camaro with a horrible purple spray painted flame job. Nice car still.
