theyve used that camaro a couple of times....they did one testing if the old knight rider, driving into and off of a semi trick could really work....

they did one with a 4th gen as well...testing if a burnout can set a tire on fire

yea the first was the one i was referring to.
the burnout was a firebird. which was very cool. i love those LT1 and LS1 firebirds.

On another note, I DVR'd a bunch of the original "V" shows the other day, and I seen quit a few 3rd gens in the backround in a few of the episodes.

weird thing is im not usally in customized camaros i like ( expecially irocs ) to look mostly stock some nice wheels and some small stuff isnt bad but im just not usally into these huge cowls and ss hoods ( some do look good though ) but i think those camaro cop cars actually look hell good something about them. they look freakin mean! i might have to build a big block camaro that looks alot like those.

Im not sure if anyone has said the one but the latest Fast & Furious had a 3rd gen in it. Right when they go to the police impound and Vin breaks the window to the car, the camaro is right to the right of the car =)

i saw this on tv " google the story" some guy shoots his ex on live tv , she showed up to the cemetery in a gold/brown camaro , then the guy runs off in a jeep , it was being filmed by telemundo " a spanish cahnnel" crazy stuff, this guy pretty much empties the whole clip on his ex .

I saw an older episode of law and order with detective Briscoe. Briscoe had a regular uniform jimmy open the door of a suspects 86 red camaro. While jimmying, the officer told Briscoe how this camaro was an 86 and was easier to open than 85's since they had different doors. Not sure if I recall it all correctly but nice that the writers wrote those extra lines. Must have been a a camaro lover

how bout in the tv show walker texas ranger.. now get this. his partner, the black guy forget his name, drives a red 4th gen firebird. ok thats not a 3rd gen.. but wait.. in one episode i was watching his 4th just gets jumped into a lake... but here is the scene his 4th gen is heading for the lake, it switches screens then when it switches back to show it jump into the lake its a red 3rd gen firebird

Walking Tall - in the "shakedown" near the end they're beating a guys head into the hood of a white 3rd gen (later 80's) with t-tops...

It's kinda sad how much I "look" for them in movies and TV shows - always comparing "mine is sexier or faster, etc."

The romantic comedy "When in Rome" that is currently in theaters...Josh Duhamel's friend hits him with a 1985-1988 Z28 or RS (rear bumper just says camaro) and he rolls up the hood and cracks the windshield...both get in the Z28 and he burns rubber.

There is also a blue one during the chase where they captured the criminal in between being in the town and entering the cave. It's only on screen for a second though and has someone sitting on the closed passenger door while shooting.

Likely the same red Firebird that they were in when breaking in to get the Porsche at the beginning of the movie.

They did destroy a number of second generations which were recreations of the F-Bomb though.

Ya thats the bad thing about it though i think i read somehwere it was like 30 or so 2nd gens and they wrecked like 40 or 50 ricers haha i guess the only thing good about them destorying the 2nd gens is theyll be worth more later on down the road but the bad thing is that they were 2nd gens what were they thinking

I have not read every post/reply on here so this may have been mentioned a few times, but on the TV show The Office, Dwight has a 3rd gen Trans Am/Firebird.
