Those are so NOT GTA wheels. They look like ARE (American Racing Equipment) lace wheels. If you look at a real GTA crosslace, you can spot the difference from 100 yards away. Here's a hint...Look at the area around the lugs....

And since the 2nd gens had the snowflakes wheels, which are just another crosslace design....Pontiac definately had the design before Chrysler & that concept car.

I don't think anyone else has seen this yet but this new movie coming out called "Underground Comedy 2010" has what appears to be a regular 3rd Gen. Camaro that is black screaming on a street with 3 guys in it shooting a woman/fake baby to death. I've got the stills from the video uploaded and here are a few shots of it.

There is also a video link of the movie trailer at the bottom for you guys to check out. The Camaro goes by at around 0:30 - 0:33 seconds.

Not a Movie but Macgyver "Collision Course" (not sure if it was mentioned) had a camaro or transam in it which he drove autocross style. It even displayed the TPI setup once and described it as a "break-through new plastic part internal motor". Quite a few thirdgens in that episode. You can find the episode in the link I posted.

There were a LOT of blue IROCs used in "Black Dog". Mentioned in the first post, but I wanted to add to it:

In some scenes, you see an 85-87 IROC and in others you see an 88-90, based on wheels and decal placement.

Also, there is a huge continuity problem with the damage of the car as the movie goes on. See the attached pic:

In the latest fast and furious movie. When Paul Walker and Vin Diesel go to the police impound to hide the hummer , they steal the Subaru STI . Sitting next to that STI is a 82-84 Camaro . These is also another third gen in the desert chase scene later in the movie.

Im pretty sure that in the batmobile episode of Mythbusters they use a late 80s early 90s camaro for the car grapple hook around the corner.

Honestly I think if you knew enough about planes itd be doable, did it have to be road worthy too, or just fly?

Could def make a firebird fly....2800 lbs and 180 hp would give about the same power to weight ratio, and stripped out one could probably get down to that weight level.

Just finished watching the Hangover and when they are in the Impound Lot after they get tazed as the camera zooms in at the beginning of the scene and when they are getting in the car there is a 82 maybe an 86 black sports coupe with a yellow sign in the window.

The Fox Series "Lie to Me"
Dr. Lightman has been working with a police detective for the last 2 episodes and she drives a 3rd gen Camaro. Not sure of the year and it's pretty beat up.

Yep. I've seen several thirdgens throughout the seasons. Both Camaros and Firebirds... though it seems Ford is major sponsor of the show, most of the main cars are fords(ford van from the used ford dealership, ford suv, ford taurus, 60s ford mustang, etc)


Also, saw a thirdgen Camaro on one episode of The Cleveland Show. They called it a Trans Am, but it was clearly a Camaro.

Alright here are three that i've seen. Two are from back in the day, one is current.

Old: "The 'Burbs" With Tom Hanks, Approximately 1hour and 9mins in there is a yellow iroc. Boys in the hood, when Tre is older it's parked outside his dad's house.

New: Lie to me (the tv show) "The Royal We" 10 minutes in a maroon camaro.
