here are the new pics of my 1985 IROC with my 6" Harwood cowl scoop and two toned. i will get better pics when i will be able to get her out of the garage. i still have some other things to get done prior to that.

I hope that thing runs at least 9s to need a hood that huge. Good luck turning right as well, you can't possibly see anything. I have a 4" cowl and it knocked out a good amount of viewing angles. No reason for an air cleaner that massive I bet in 2 weeks of driving you regret going that big.

reeally? ive got a 4 inch cowl on my car and once i got used to it i dont even notice its there, now granted it it was like a moose sittin on the hood when i first put it on

it is an aftermarket fiberglass hood (of unknown manufacturer) with the hole cut and bolted on.
its not a street car. it may go back and forth to the track, or out on the weekends, but far from a daily driver.

the vin matches in 3 spots of being an 85, so thats enough for me... but yea, it is very mismatched together. i didnt even realize that the shifter and knob until you mentioned it though.
