Well just got done my LSX swap now I want to spice up the apearance a little. I have a 1992 25th Anv Z28 Heritage(red w/blk stripes). So right now its got the dual Blisters. Should I go SS??I'd put the stripes back on it. Or stay Blisters?? Or other? what your guys idea? The only exterior Mod is 17x11 rear 17x9.5 front Blk ZR1 wheels w/polished lip. Thanks for all your feedback.

leave the ss hood for the 4th gens where it belongs.. I'd say stay with the blistered hood unless you need hood clearance for some reason, if thats the case a cowl hood would do nicely.

Dont get mad if I call you and idiot i just call them like i see them, If you want to tell me im a jerk save it ive heard it all before....
if you dont mind doing some work , pick up a iroc hood(their cheap too) and make the loovers fuctonal... but if not then go ss
Thats a good idea. I think I like the iroc hoods on irocs. Much rather keep my blister hood. I was thinking getting a Jongbloed hood and putting blisters on it. Just an idea. Don't know how'd it look. Maybe someone has photo shop??
I'd keep the blisters. Sidenote: Few years ago I saw a guy who put an 82' cowl induction with the plate that opens (IT Worked too)onto an 89 roc. It looked alright and really made you do a second take on it.

That would be Bad @$$. Kinda like the old Chevelle SS's.

I'm confused.. are you talking about a cowl induction hood or are you talking about an 82 camaro hood(the kind with the functional air inlets) or are you saying a guy took a cowl hood and incorporated the functional inlets from the early 3rd gen maro into it? The third would be kinda cool to see..
To the OP, I say keep the origional look and have more of a sleeper.. if you do go with some kind of aftermarket hood it would be cool if you could make it functional to work with the LS1

I have had the louvers and blisters on mine, think I prefer the blister.
jongbloed is the only after market hood I would want to swap for the stock, don't see too many around. Wouldn't mind seeing one with blister's and you can get the blister's that fit on to a stock flat.
I have been faced with the same question. I have been thinking that it would be cool to replace factory steel hood with a fiberglass (flat) hood, and install the factory blisters to fiberglass hood. The fiberglass hood, and blisters could be cut out to make the blister's heat extractor functional, while shedding the extra weight of the steel hood.
