Sorry for the dumb question you guys but - how do I post a full sized pic rather than have a thumbnail come up?
One way is to open an account and host your pictures on a site like Photo Bucket, www.photobucket.com, it's free, and copy the IMG code listed under the picture you want to post and paste it into your post. Example, without the spaces after , yields this...
Nice place over there in Perth. I made a couple of stops there (actually Fremantle) in my Navy days many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I am trying to post pics but cannot, they keep coming up as bad files even though I can put them anywhere else (myspace, cardomain, my e-mail accounts, and my photo editors). Just rolled through the forums and found the photo bucket thing so I will give that a shot. I would really like to share the photos of my '84 Z28 in the condition I found it, not really artistic, but they will give a good understanding of how much work this car is taking. I will try photo bucket when I get home to my home computer. To be continued......

I wish there was good looking graffiti like that in my area! all we have is lame taggers, no real artists. I love the "f*ck bush!" with a smiley face hahahah

'87 Camaro Girl,
You havn't had yours for very long yet. Many of our's started out looking worse than that. Hey; I thought girls didn't like Orange,Yeller, or El Camino's?!? What's the story behind this Tangerine Go-Cart? Nitro-Nicky

well...its kinda interesting. Before this i had a 1998 Vw Golf with a autotrajic. (no offense to those with auto's) anyways, it was gutless and annoying to go on the highway with so i sold it..i saw this camaro on Kijiji for $700, i went and took a look at it and it wasn't running. so..with some thought i bought it and got it towed to the shop to get the starting trouble fixed. turns out the fuel pump was gone. so i got the fuel pump done..$1100 later.. it ran.. it sat for a month or so until i could afford to get the rear brakes done because there were none left.
Anyways, so the main reason i'm keeping it is because this poor car has potential. my uncle (Larry Shannon) rebuilds and restores cars for a living, some of his work is here- > http://www.cc-racing.com/gallery-photo.html
he built that corvette from the ground up. and on the one below, he did all the body/engine work and my other uncle (kelly Shannon) did the interior.
he mostly builds hopped up muscle cars, but the impala was just kind of a project.
SO with his help, i'm sure that this Camaro, whom i named Jimmy because the muffler was a "jimmy-rigged" cherry bomb. will be a fine car when i'm done.
hey 95cam86roc,
what color is your iroc? I really like that color. Nice ride -Matt
ahaha its funny that you ask bc im not sure. I had it painted.... Its an 86 n we pulled the paint code off an 87 and threw a metallic in it. It came out this color but its sposed to be Flame red or whatever they call the stock color.

Other than being absolutely impressed with the impal-la-la; Your quote about buying Jimmie for $700/$1100/soon to be $2700 cracks me up! That is soooo typical with these cars (I'm sadly shaking my head from side to side). It's like they hit just over 100k miles and then implode all the way to the wrecking yard.
It sounds like you're in capable hands with all that family Foose/mechanical hand-crafting ability. I thought I was a fairly adept backyard mechanic UNTIL my Black Beaver sucked me in! I've driven it less than a thousand miles total in the three years since I bought it, and it was a fairly good looking and running IROC for the first couple months. Ever after it's been an Emergency Room Wildebeast.
I also agree with your estimate that some of the 3rd Gen's will end up as collectables. There just wasn't anything else out there that looked like it. Even the Corvette's of that time period looked more like a chevy lumina and the 4th Gen's look more like a Geo. I'm betting that it'll soon become the poor woman's/man's 69 Camaro. I got rid of a perfect Lexus SC400 to make room for mine. I'm thinking it'll be the highly optioned IROC's that will be more sought after. Hey; welcome to the board and best of luck getting yours put together. Nitro-Nicky

a lot of these are great looking cars, but how is a pic of your car in the driveway of your house "artistic?" How about some in a cool/unique setting? sunset shots? Black and white? Udamon's art drawings are cool--anyone else draw/sketch/paint well? what about pics of a particular element--grills, using the mirror of the car as a lens, reflections of cool settings in your glass smooth paint? How about interesting camera settings/exposures? I know there are some of you out there who like to do this stuff, Ive seen it on here before. I'd love to see more.

This is my 'arty' photo of my '87 2.8 RS (was taken on phone)
This one shows up the colour a little bit better :P also I sprayed the temporary grille black..
And this is the most recent shot, with a new replacement grille. Yes it's RHD, I'm from Australia
Here are a couple for you guys! These are a few years old, the car's been down for about three years waiting for new paint and a new motor. Should be back on the road this summer, and I'll post some new pics then.

Yep! I always thoughts those pics were pretty cool Blue--and btw, there are some decent art pics on this thread. I just never understand people who take a pic in their driveway or street and think its "art." A little creativity goes a long way.
