My 86 Iroc

alot of you guys have seen me around the boards, usually askin for help on my car that wont start, wont stay on, or work right. well now you can put the username to a car. i finally got her running good, borrowed a Snap-on Ethos scanner from class and checked out that i had a coolant temp sensor code, which im going to change, and i decided to be good to my car and give a good wash and clean the rims alittle and have a little photo shoot. anyways it went well, i met another Z28 owner we chit chatted abit about our cars and recommended him to join the site, and the inevitable happens, for some reason my car starts pissing coolant at the radiator cap on one of the pictures. anyways enjoy, also if anyone can notice that fading on my hood, it looks like dull yellow paint, but it goes away when it gets wet, is there anyways to fix it? maybe like a wax?

yeah i bought the car with the paint job and the rims, and the paintjob has really grown on me. the car was originally red. and the rims also have center caps that cover the lugs, they look nice with them on but the rims have also grown on me aswell, but what i really want is some torque thrusts or kragar rims.

Re: My 86 Iroc

not a bad car there. the paint does resemble the 80's, maybe you could re-do it but with a more modern touch. and the it looks like it needs repainted anyways do to some chipping/peeling/cracking anyways??? i don't think the rims would be all that bad(seen worse) if you got the center caps.
