Project Update 91 Camaro

My brother Kyle has had this White with Gray interior 91 Camaro RS 305 for over 7 years now. When we got him to buy that car, our brother Scott immediately put 2.5 inch exhaust from the manifolds to a Flowmaster muffler. We also had an extra set of aluminum roller rockers that we threw on there for shits and giggles. Other than that it is bone stock and the car sounds great.

Kyle is very tight with his money and doesn't like to spend it at all so this next part was quite a stretch for him. All he originally wanted was for his bumpers, ground affects, and mirrors to be repainted because of fading and cracking. He also wanted brighter head lights. Then we decided that we might as well two tone the car since the bottom half has to be repainted anyways. Then we thought white was just a bad two tone color so we decided to paint the entire car. lol best damn decision that we ever made. We ended up buying 4 crystal head lights, clear corners, and clear turn signal lenses, a new grill, all new weather stripping, a used but perfect condition dash pad (placed carpet over to prevent cracking), and a new set of rims and tires. We also finally added the keyless entry that I (Justin) bought for him back in Christmas. We also broke the windshield accidentally but claimed it on insurance fro a free replacement. We had a spare Iroc hood and used it for the hell of it.

We made him do as much of the work that we could allow him to do so he would appreciate it more. He probably washed the car when it was white maybe 15 times over a 7 year period roughly. Now he says he will wash it every other week. We spent about 2 months on this little project and around 2000 dollars. Kyle chose 2008 Suburu Metallic Blue for the car.

ENJOY!!! and yes we do love our Camaros.

Re: Project Update 91 Camaro

There all show quality paint jobs, that was the first one painted outside and the other 2 were in the garage. This one turned out better cause the overspray blows away while outside. You just have to make sure you get enough clear on and wetsand away all imperfections. We had some 3000 grit sandpaper for the DA which helps alot. Theres no way your going to burn through with 3000. lol
