Yep, these are 17'x8's. These are perfect because they come at a 0 offset so there's no need for adapters or any other crap. The tires are 245/45/17 I got'em from tire discounters. Great deal. And man do they look nice and wide from the back. Just how I like it.

The spoiler was a toss up. It was painted silver and looked okay but I thought it might look even better black.

Looks good! Would definitely seek a different rear end with disc brakes, and the wing is not my style either. I do like the color combination. Might consider going with the "5 inch spoiler" from hawks and paint it black, I think that would set it off nicely.

Check this site out if your looking for inspiration.

Sweet camaro.I like that hood it looks great.Only thing I don't like is the rear spoiler just doesn't flow with the rest of the car.

Any ideas on how much that would cost (for the disc breaks)?

Just swap in a third or fourth gen rear end that has disc brakes.

Re: My 84-Z, finished

not sure. I think they are like 2 inches shorter overall but they are direct bolt ins. There are some good threads about 4th gen rear end swaps. you should look them up.

From what I understand its a direct bolt in, with the added advantage of being able to ride on 4th gen rims and vette style rims without spacers. You would also have a Posi rear end which is good. I doubt yours came with a Posi rear if it has drums. (could be wrong though)

Re: My 84-Z, finished

Don't know if you ever got an answer on the 4th gen rear, but ...

The LS1 rear is just at 3 inches WIDER overall - so just about 1.5 inches wider each side.
The LT1 rear is slightly longer.
It is a direct bolt-in.
4th gen wheels can be used with no modding on the rear, fronts need 2 inch spacers.
