Yeah, I've got lots of pics of it, but it's not a thirdgen, so I probably shouldn't post them up here LOL. It's actually a '68 LeMans, with just a tick over 50,000 original miles on it. Well, nothing much is original on it anymore. It's got a 400 built with aluminum heads and dual quads, A/C a 5 speed conversion from Keisler, seats from an '05 GTO, four wheel disc brakes, shaved door handles, remote controlled power windows, custom paint done by my friends who built it, etc. etc. It's definitely a sweet ride! Check out http://1968gto.bravehost.com/ for info on the car, and let me know if you want me to email you some other shots of it.

Thanks
They're 18x9 ROH RT wheels on all four corners. I decided I wanted them about 5 years ago, and finally got them when I built this car I originally wanted them in the "black ice" or "shadow chrome" type finish, but when I ordered mine they were not available in that finish, so I just got silver, but I'm quite happy with how they look. I'm not quite sure what current availability on them is, I've heard quite a few rumors of companies not importing them anymore, but your best bet would be to check with www.groupawheels.com which is where I got mine, and see what they have to say. Let me know if you need any more info on them!
Re: "artistic" shots of Firebirds and T/A's, Post Up!
This is the only artsy shot I have of my car so far, besides the one in my avatar. Goes to show, time may age them, but they can still shine...
p.s. I know y'all hate the "salad shooters", but on the black and golds, I wouldn't have it any other way...

Guess I should have specified what I meant. I have the RAII which looks good on the 91-92 birds...but not so much on the pre 91's. For his body style, the RAI hood looks muuuch better than the RAII.

I don't remember seeing it that clean(not just paint, body as well). You probably don't remember me, but I used to live in San Antonio. Met you at the quartely meet in Katy. Plus you came to my house to pickup the front end of a camaro from my roommate.

I knew exactly what you meant, and I agree. I have a '92 but I actually much prefer the RAI on all of them '82-'92. I hemmed and hawed for a LONG LONG time before I bought my RAI, and I almost bought a couple different RAII's, but I am SO glad I went with the RAI. The RAII can definitely look great on the right car, but it's RAI for me
Anyway...nice cars (and great shots of them!) everyone!!!

I do remember you, the camaro for which the front end was got sold tho which was sad. I'm glad it looks cleaner, unfortunately i got new dents from living in the apartments
i have another picture where i photoshoped dents and few other things out so it looks extra clean lol

WOOHOO! My car made it to someone else's background other than mine. Thanks for the compliments on the pics. I'm looking forward to adding more "artsy" pics as soon as I get the car back out of the shop. I've been enjoying the pics of other Firebird throughout the thread. We've got some good lookin' 'Birds here on TGO.

Aaarrrrrrgggghhhh... I can't believe I wasted a good chunk of an entire morning checking out this thread... Some BEAUTIFUL shots here though! (And yeah, I've saved a bunch of 'em too.) Wish I could find some of the older pics that I have of my car, I had some REALLY nice ones from when I lived in the NW...
Can't freakin' WAIT until I can my GTA moving under it's own power again - I think it's been something close to 18 months since I've been able to drive it...!!

Besides being saddened about not being able to drive your car yet, why would going through all these pictures be a waste? Besides, at least you're making progress on your car, mine is slowly but surely getting in worse shape and I have no money to throw at it.

Here are som more pictures of my ride...
