ok I hope thats not your car...if it is sorry dude!! but im just gunna say it...Uhhhggg they totally ruined the Camaro's and firebirds...i ALWAYS cringe like hell when i see a fourth gen anything and when they have black bonnets i just want to barf...they just killed those cars...somethings just very wrong with the shape or something they look like Sebrings *shudders*...gawd

Third gens will continue to look mean as **** tho...especially GTA's and i love your's...it's bad ***

i dunno...you may say that fourth gens look like crap, but i think it is Chrysler who stole the shape from chevy on the camaro....i think the 98-02's look good (especially the t/a's...they look mean!) but i agree that the 93-97 camaro's dont look that great, but you also have to factor in the LT1!

anyways onto the thrid gens, 86ta, that bird is pretty damn nice....i always wondered how a bird would look with a cowl and stripes....i was thinking about it myself, but i have insufficient funds lol, but its lookin nice!

They don't look right on any Camaros or any pre 91' Birds. The RAII hood looks good on the 91-92' style bird.
Needs a bit of body work and paint, but it's going to look good.

each to their own I guess, I personally think it looks awesome, but then again it is my car

and I will admit I was very "on the fence" before I got it, it probably looks better in person.

I always thoguth the nostril hood destroyed the smooth lines of GTA's... or just didnt look like it belongs...even on 4th gens it looks to busy with the headlight indents up there too

but its a different look that id probly like if i stare at it alot

Have to admit that I am not a fan of late model Vette rims on our birds, but they sure do look good in that photo. They actually look like they belong there. Got any shots from different angles?

Wow the more pics of convertibles I see the more I want one. Maybe my next thirdgen.
Anyway, it isn't really "artistic", and its ugly as sin, but heres my GTA.

Car is solid as a rock, but just looks terrible. I love it though :-)

Yup, gotta admit it. Even from different angles, those wheels look like they belong on that car. Not only do the color and style of the wheels work with your car, the wheels and tires actually 'fit' the wheel wells. Fantastic job in making it all work together so well.

Hey thanks for the compliments guys! Most people that ask me about the car just assume it's some older 'vette. I get the 'vette wave from a lot of guys too. Most of this stuff was picked (the wheels mainly) because it was CHEAP, $400 for the set of wheels.

It's riding on sportlines in front with a quarter coil cut off and stock height tires and the rears are a sportline with the isolator removed and a ~27" tall tire (295/35-19). Now I found a 315 I can fit on, so as soon as these rears wear out . In the rear I've run a ton of setups, cut ws6 with and without isolator, cut f41 spring with and without isolator and the sportline with and without isolator and the sportline is what I like until I can get weightjacks under her.

Those ADRs look bad arse on there. I love grey wheels on thirdgens and have always loved the multispoke lace style.

Thank you sir, we appear to share the same taste. Im saving up for c6 z06 brakes to sit behind them as well. I know you've got the fronts and they look sick on your car. I wouldnt do a 91-92 bird much differently (if at all) than you did.

If you're looking for calipers and such I work for a GM dealership in parts and can get a you a massive deal on parts. Like, cost + 10%

I'm waiting to swap the rear c6 zo6's on for when ebmiller get his backing plates done that allow the use of the c5/c6 parking brake.

Love the look of those rims, never would have thought they were 19s. What are the rim specs front and rear? Do you have a side shot with better lighting?

Come brake time, I might take you up on that! I want the bigger brakes, but ones that will fit my GTA wheels, not requiring me to get bigger wheels....Unless Oasis ever steps up to making 18" crosslace wheels....

As far as I know there is only one setup that bolts up behind the crosslace wheels and it's no where close to a GM caliper. A wilwood setup. Looks really nice, a guy from my local club has them.

If you know of ONE, now you know TWO! Allow me to double your knowledge them. :P

Read the LS1 Upgrade kit...

"* This brake kit should fit with all stock style 16" wheels, except for the Trans Am/Firebird crosslace wheel. To use this wheel, minor clearancing or the use of a wheel spacer will be necessary."

I already have a set of the OEM GM brand new spacers needed.
