Clear Sidemarkers and Blacked Out Tail lights...Firebirds!

Check them out. Got the clear sidemarkers off ebay and I blacked out the tail lights my self. Still need to be polished. I dont know if I am going to keep them on, as I have a nicer set of stocks I just bought...
Enjoy:

Also, if anyone wants to buy my blacked out tail lights or trade for some Gta, I would be glad to do so.

Looks nice. I was about to say some T/A tail lights would look better, but it seems like you already know that. Nice looking car too. I really like the white with the red and black stripes around the bottom. I've never seen that combination before.

Re: Clear Sidemarkers and Blacked Out Tail lights...Firebirds!

ive been contemplating doing both of those, but i think a very nice set of the TA tail light will look better, my 85 is all white so i was considering the clear sidemarkers, how did you black them out?

Re: Clear Sidemarkers and Blacked Out Tail lights...Firebirds!

Believe it or not, the stripe is black and orange. If I repaint the car to be original, I am going to get the stripe to be black and red. I have seen 3 cars just like mine. Not locally though. I saw an all original one on eBay sell for like 13k, I saw one on car craft, and i found one like mine with Vette wheels on thirdgen.

Looks good. Flows a lot better having the same colors together rather than mixing a bunch of amber in there. I'd stick with the base tails rather than switching to TA ones. I did that to my old formula and regretted it later on.

Haha, I don't have money for Gta's. I do have a nicer set of stockers I will throw back on eventually after I polish them to a mirror shine.

im afraid of tinted tails, gives non observant idiots to come up with excuses of why they hit ya and unfortunatly this would work in their favor.

Nah, I like the red in the back. I couldn't stand the orange in the front. So I only have clear in the front.
