finally got them on this weekend. front bolted right up, had to do some cutting and hammering in the rear but got them to fit. spacers-2 inch up front 2.5 in rear. cut off the axle rubber bump stop and hammered some of the lower inner fender but not really a big deal, just took a while b/c i was using a dremel w/ cutoff wheel. next is lowering springs and a disc rearend hopefully by the summer time. i went from a 215-65-15 to a 255-35-18 and 275-35-19. definately worth it, i think it looks killer. i scored the rims and tires for 500 (gm, not replica) and all 4 spacers ran me 215. here are some pics

wow that does look amazing! i was thinking of running similar combo 18/19 but couldnt decide if i wanted that staggered look. Doesnt look bad on your car at all tho
i liked the cross laces better, now you'll have to upgrade the brakes w/ the bigger wheels...not a big fan of the c6, i like the c5..but looks good overall
Really looks nice! I just bought a set of GM c6 wheels the other day. This will help me a lot on figuring out what I need for tires. Mine is already lowered and I hope that there is little issues when it comes to rubbing.
thanks for the replies. the rims are coming off this weekend so i can re-torque the spacers but no rubbing so far. i think im going to paint the calipers just for the fact that one is gold and one is grey metal. i get the tires free so i took the widest w/ the best tread since they are used but basically brand new. funny story is the first day i drove it w/ the new rims someone left a note on my truck asking if the firebird was for sale. i think i will call just to see how much he offers.
i've had the same problem with people asking if my car's for sale.
i think its happened 5 or 6 times since i've had it? and once while i was washing it..

Iansane, your ride sits just right, how much drop u got on front & back, also what tires u runnin.
Not trying to hijack but:
Front:
18x8.5" c6 base wheel
275/35-18 BFG KDW NT
2" spacer (I'd like to try a 2.25" or 2.125" spacer)
Eibach Sportline spring with a 1/3 coil trimmed off
Rear:
19x10" c6 base wheel
295/35-19 BFG KDW NT (~1" taller than stock but it fills up the wheel wells beautifully)
1" spacer + 4thgen axle (so ~2.5-3.0" wider than a stock 3rdgen axle)
Standard Eibach Sportline spring and rolled fender lip
HTH!

I just wanted to get in, for future searching. And to thank iansane, for giving out these numbers. Its like getting the combination to a safe containing a bottle of car sex appeal. Man some of you guys can make a car ooze with the right stance. I have got to get me some C6s.
