Finally some rims!

Atlast, I got the rims I've been trying to get for 4 (!) years! These will look awsume on the car. Long story short;

I wreck the stock wheel on a curb, 4 years ago, and intend to buy some torq thrust 2's in stock size and reuse the tires. Then the tire delaer says he has some used wheels, and wonder if I want to have a look at them. I do, and they are friggin awsume! I try them on the car, needs somm massaging to make them fit, but it's doable. But it looks totally sick! makes the car look like it's worth 30k more, I can't believe the difference! I'm all exited, heart beating like hell, and hurry up to him with the money. Suddenly he don't want to sell them. After 2 weeks of negotiation, I try to make him order a new set, identical. Price is sky high. Even so, it's WAY more expensive any other place I call, whatever country. says 2 months delivery. 2 months come and go, no wheels. 1 year, 2... no wheels.
I started looking at other wheels, bu they were all just pale in comparison.
Then 2 days ago, i open a car magazine, and see this feautured custom -64 bel air with the same exact wheels on. The guys name is there. I get his number, call him. It's the same exact pair I tried to buy 4 years ago. He got them from the same guy. And they are for sale. Lol

I go, and buy them!

Super-star 3 piece, billet centers, 19x11,5 and 19x10. 295/35-19 and 275/30-19 tires. Hyperchrome. Gold plated bolts. ( lil overkill i guess) Superdeep lips. No need for spacers. Price new is $2200 per rim. Total of $12 800 when adding economy tires. Super expensive. I got them for $6000 Expensive, sure, but these wheels don't grow on trees. Came from a Harman tuned BMW 7 series with V12. Now their going on my thirdgen. lol yay

Re: Finally some rims!

Alright, here is the car with rims. Sorry it took over a year, but I met a girl, then we got married, and getting a kid in 5 weeks, and now I'm also moving from Norway to Texas in 1,5 weeks, so i got busy kinda.

So what do you guys think, should I bring the car to the US, or sell for $20 000 and buy something else there? It's lowish milage, 68k, interior as new, anc lots of new parts, console, shifter, bilsteins, eibach, alston wonderbar, subframe connectors etc.

But it's still the measly stock 305, stock brakes and stock tranny.

Yeah that does look great but I have to agree with Sickness about the rivets, not my cup of tea and a pain in the *** to keep clean.

Sell the car, but keep the wheels. Try not to wreck these on a curb too.
