I got the car back in middle of '07, it had a 305, tranny wasnt shifting, and it was red, it needed TONS of love and care, i lost the pics from the body work but here are a few of the build and putting it together. Pics are in chronological order. Ill let the pics do the talking.

very beautiful car man...only problem i can see with it is the front bumper...i guess its aftermarket? just cuz you seem to have the same 'indent' problems that i had with my aftermarket one....it looks amazing man, great work
I like the overall look of the car, great work. Is the hood gonna get painted or will it stay the same? I'd paint it and roll with out the front plate mounted but that's just me.

looks really F***in mean man. nice color choice. my car should be getting that hood next season.
The hood really does make it look better but one thing, dont buy a urethane hood, if i bought another one it would def. be a metal hood. Fitment of mine is horrible thats why i got hood pins.

yeah my goal is to get the whole car resprayed over the winter, i will be painting the hood its just that im still thinkin about how i'm gonna get it straight, its not fiberglass or metal, ive taken it to quite a few of body shops and they all told me that it could be fixed with anything other than hood pins.
Thank you guys for all the replies. The color is my favorite, i painted my first car the same color but it got totaled. At first i didnt know if i wanted sunset orange or the blue.
I am having problems with my custom chip, i thinks its my VE tables.
Just a lil info on my setup, 350, flat tops, .488/492 lift .212/218 duration, 1.6 rocker arms, double springs, ported iron heads that flow like crap, fully ported LT1 intake, 52mm TB, shorty headers, 2.5 downpipe, 3" borla catback, fully rebuilt 700r4, mild shift kit, 3200 stall, 3.73s, 24# injectors, msd 6a, msd coil, msd distributor, B&M transmission oil cooler, aluminum pulleys, full synthetic oil, KyB shocks, Tokico springs, adjustable torque arm, and mickey thompsons.
Looks good! I love those wheels. What brand are they and what size? And if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay?
are you talking about the gta's? rear ones are not the original gta's, they are 16x10, the front ones are 16x8
I spent about 200 for the rear rims plus tires
The aluminum wheels i got at a local performance shop, Performance Dynamics, they are the summitracing brand, 15x10? i beleive wrapped in Mickey Thompsons 275/60r15
On this set i spent well over 1k.
Just a quick update on my car, its been sitting at home since fall, i am waiting for the weather to get better so i can repaint it, in the meanwhile i took the LT1 manifold off and got my dad to CNC port the crap out of it, looks really nice now.
I'm in the process of getting some aluminum heads and a t56 swap.
I will be replacing my front tires with 165/80r15 wich are taller and thinner than what i have now, i currently have 185 65r15<- they look really bad on my car
Looks bad azz man. Love the color. What color is that if you dont mind me asking?
Its 2006 SUBARU STI BLUE, i saw that car at a car show and fell in love with the color. back in '06 i painted my car that color but it got totaled 5 days after.
What are you going to repaint it again for? It looks good as it sits and when was the last time you painted it.
i painted it in spring of 07, but at the time i did not have my ram air hood or wrap around spoiler, soooooo they never got painted. The spoiler got painted but never clear coated.
To be honest i could just paint the two pieces BUTTTT i fear its not gonna look right, they could turn out too shiny compared to the car. So i will respary it spring of 09.
That car looks slick as hell with those polished wheels. Do you have any exhaust videos? I really want that Borla exhaust and couldn't find a video of it yet.

this is the closest i have to a video of the exhaust. Its an old video from when i was fuel inected
why did you ditch the Injection?
Any new times with the carb?
more tunability for me, i didnt like having to send off my chip to someone i have never in my life met before and trusting him to tune my car that he has never even seen pictures of before, oh, and much cleaner engine bay. my best time with the fuel injection and auto transmission was 13.4 @ 99mph with a 1.7 60ft
with the t56 tranny swap and the carb swap i was able to get 13.3 @ 102 with a 1.9 60ft
im guessing if i get the same 60ft as the auto, 1.7 and drive it well i should be 13.0flat. i hope
