I tried to search and could not find anything other than the production numbers for each model. I was wondering if anyone has productions for specific options. The reason I ask is when I was 9 yrs old my parents bought a used 82 Trans Am with 11k miles on it back in '83 and I have yet to see another one like it until now. Here's what I remember about the car. It was black with gold on the bottom, black interior, analog am/fm cass, hard top,305 4bbl, 4spd, flat hood and it had chrome 14" wheel covers. I always wish it had the black ones. GM Sport Salvage recently had a 82 Trans Am just like our old one minus the chrome wheel covers( ours fell off too). Seeing that car made me wonder how many they actually made that way.

Nope, nobody knows for sure. GM didn't keep track of those numbers. They know how many of what where produced (like you can find out how many black cars, but not even how many black Trans Ams), but not how many came with a certain option set.
Oh, and posting in the "Appearance and Detailing - Members Rides" section isn't the proper place for any questions, only for posting pics of your Thirdgen. "History and Restoration" is more appropriate for this type of question.
