1983 Pontiac Trans Am Daytona 500

I found my KARR at a North Carolina dealership with only 56,165 miles on it and it came with American Racing ARE rims.
Daytona 500 25th Anniversary Edition
305ci/5.0L Crossfire V8
700R4 4-speed Overdrive Automatic
3.23 Rear Axle Ratio
Special Recaro bucket seats (light sand gray leather bolsters with medium sand gray pigskin inserts and pallex cloth sides and seatbacks.
Aero package(rocker panel extensions, front and rear fascia extensions, air dam, rocker fences and grille pads)
Flux Capiciter
Mr. Fusion
Leather wrapped steering wheel
Fuel filler door lock
Rear window defogger
Red instrument panel lighting
T-Tops
Air Conditioning
Cruise Control
Tilt wheel
4 wheel Power Disc Brakes
L.H. and R.H. Power sport mirrors
Power antenna
Power Steering
Power Windows
Power Door locks
Power Trunk Realese

I put MSD parts and KYB GR2s in. I retrofitted my A/C from R-12 to R134a + replaced my A/C compressor. I removed the smog pump/A.I.R. System . I put front flip up license plate bracket. KITT still needs work. He is a labor of love.

Love those Daytonas!!! Nice and clean. Now look for those 15" white bowling ball wheels to finish her off!

thanks for the compliment

Sadly the Daytona 500 Aero Rims are nowhere to be found but I like the American Racing rims that the previous owner had on KITT. I also have 4 15 inch turbocast rims that will do instead. But I need 15 inch bowling Ball hubcaps

Can't you paint the bowling caps to resemble the 500 caps?

Yes I can. but the Bowling ball Hubcaps that I have need to be restored first along with my 15 inch turbocast rims. and I dont have the silver pontiac logo stickers.

I prefer the American Racing rims that the previous owner put on White Phantom when I bought him. The previous owner had good taste.

Exactly why I don't inderstand why anyone would ruin one with flux capacitors and other junk? Sorry if I'm being a jerk but I have a hard time seeing rare cars being messed up.
