Been thinking of new rims for awhile, and I think I found what I want.
Boze Pro Touring
18x9 5.25" backspace so it will have a similar lip to my firehawk wheels. Dark grey painted center to match my car, high polished/clearcoated lip. 2 Piece rim. What do you think?

If the width you want (in all wheels) isn't made, buy a narrow, cheaper (in cost) set & have them custom widened. That is how I got my 11" ROH Snypers. (from 9" to 11" now)

In their words.....
"200.00 per wheel widening, up to 3" . 100.00 for the refiinishing of the wheel.so you will be looking at 300.00 total per wheel. plus 27.50 shipping for each wheel going back to you."
And they cut your wheel, cut the inside of another wheel whatever width you ewant it widened than what they cut off your wheel, then weld the 2 pieces together, 1 seam. Unlike places that cut yours apart & use 1 strip to put in place with 2 seams. IMO, the 1 seam is ultimately stronger.
but seriously, a wider rear wheel would be really nice, at least a 10". Save up a little longer, you will be glad you did. I originally bought 18x8's for my car, they were really nice, but it wasn't long before i wished i had gone wider. I had mine widened too, turned the rears into 18x12's and love them, nothing like a set of steamrollers on the back of a car. Probably going to widen the fronts too at some point, probably a 9 or 9.5" width
I do really like the wheel you picked, i would love a set of those for my car, but i can justify the expense right now.
I found a car on here running some 18x9.5s with a 6" backspace and no spacers needed. The wheels looked like they were right at home! I loved it! I'm just real uneasy about custom ordering wheels. There is no place around me to measure what size I need, and I dont feel comfortable doing it myself, so im trying to go off of what others have done.

While trying to see what/how to fit mine. I spent several months reading & such.
Here is a 17" x 9" with 5"bs, with some minor BFH work to the "ribs".....
With a 18" wheel, your wheel would be 1/2" "higher" than where I measured. The bumpstop would be inside the wheel, which shouldn't create a broblem for you. With 6" bs, you'd still have just over 1" of room between the wheel & the sheetmetal.

I just don't see them looking very good on your car. I have been having trouble finding a nice wheel that would look good on my formula. That Charcoal on the bottom really ruins the looks of alot of wheels, and I don't think though would look that good. I like the rim, but on the car I don't think it would fit.
those wheels look sweet, but id do as some of the other member mentioned and get 9 or 9.5 that way you get a nice lip and can run a pretty decent sized tire in the rear, i think it will be worth in the lnng run to spend more now than to regret it later
Bullydawg, I kind of agree. I really cant find anything that "fits" the car. The ronals are the closest thing to "fitting" and I've really come to like them. The Boze wheels I think would actually look really nice.
I was just quoted $5k for a paint job, so I think new rims and tires may have to wait for awhile. I'm supposed to drop my car off late november and pick it up around spring.
