GM 1.6 vrs Crane 1.6?? Machined trunnion??

I guess the GM don't have this machined trunnion. Is it needed to be done to fit the bowtie on my LB9? What is this machined trunnion anyhow? Thanx.

the trunnion is the machined, needle bearing, pivot point. if you have a stock, or more of less stock lb9 you don't need the high dollar rockers, you don't even need roller rocker. if you want to go from 1.5 to 1.6 you might see .025 more lift at the valve and very little preformance increase, if any. what are you calling a bow tie? the lb9 isn't a bow tie block, if thats what you're thinking.

I've got both a set of Crane Gold self aligning and GM self aligning rr's. The Crane Gold 1.6's and the GMPP 1.6's are made the same. The only diff is the GM ones have the bowtie emblem on the end and are clear anodized. Crane also makes the LT4 blue 1.6's for GM.

comp cams makes two roller rockers for gm SA applications pn 1318 1.6 and pn 1317 1.5. lighter and stronger than crane rockers and come with needle bearing trunnions.
