Comp Eng. or MAC subframe connectors?

Hi all,

I have a choice between Comp Eng. or MAC subframe connectors here in Calgary. Please give me your experienced advice on which ones you would recommend. I'm getting them welded in but really want you folks' input on quality and ease of fit.

Not too long ago someone posted that their is a Spohn Disributor in Calgary (a place I have been to many times). Contact "apeiron" I am sure he knows.

I much preffer the Spohn's. Not only because of the quality of his products. But he supports this site freely. Remember he is actually giving us a new server?

Thanx,ANDYZ28

Thanks for your reply. I know Chris (Apeiron) well, but he has since moved to Kelowna, BC. I'd love Spohn connectors. It's just that they are well out of my budget

SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY!! Its worth it! Go with a set of Kenny browns or spohn sub frames. I have the kenny browns on my car and I love them! Anyway,..... this is definatly one of those times where you get what you pay for. I have a set of comp engineering connectors in the basement that I bought to put on,.... untill I saw what a peice of sh#t they are. Its easy to justify the expense when you stop and think that these will be welded to your car! I dont know if you have ever tried to remove a set that has been welded in place by a competent welder, But let me just tell you....... its damn near impossible to do without creating a complete cluster fu#k! Hope this helps.....
