For those wondering, I have a dark blue 87 firebird formula with a 86 hatch. It has tinted windows and a big white bird on back glass.

I'll soon be moving to the area and working at the power plant near 10 and I-95. Good to know that there'll be others in the area.

In Richmond. Well one place you definitly want to be is Turner and Midlothian. Go there on a Fri or Sat night and just light em up at that light. You will get plenty of action.

Its been along time since I was at Turner and midlothian, I used to live on midlothian back in the day (1990ish). How bad are the cops down there? I remember when there wasnt but maybe one or two cops every other week.

They have some pretty fast cars there. They will be sitting in the lot on the right if your comming from Richmond. Alot of 2007 Caprice in the mix! All domestic! Just look for the sign that says, State Police Headquarters. You will definitely lose your money.

Re: Richmond, Virginia

89formula how is nova? I used to live all over nova from 2000 to 2004, back in 2001 I lived at massaponix (forgot how to spell it) but I lived right behind that gas station in the townhousing complex with a red 97 camaro I just got rid that thing 9 months ago when I got my 89 camaro. I remember when they were first building that walmart; I worked at the walmart in central park for a few months but I was living in richmond at the time since the management didnt allow me to transfer so I just quit; didnt want to work a walmart anyways.

Re: Richmond, Virginia/New Kent Car Show

Re-digging up this old thread...

Is anyone going to enter or go to the HorsePower car show in New Kent on July 14th? I am trying to get my intake back on (as I wait, and wait, and wait for parts to come in) in a reasonable amout of time before I enter. Any other 3rd gens coming with?

I live in Charlottesville and have one of the ONLY (or so it seems) 3rd gens that actually runs around here. I wouldn't mind a trip to richmond if we can get enough people together to atleast scare of the blue oval ****fest that seems to be going on everywhere i look.

Will not pass the big sniff huh. Come down to Richmond, only about an hour drive. Keep on 95 thru Richmond to Chippenham. Get on Chippenham Second exit is Rt 1, Jefferson Davis Highway South. Stop at any inspection station there on the left. Noone snifs up here.LOL But if you have bald tires or need brakes, will not pass.

My first post so i'll do alittle intro..I'm an old guy that just bought a 89RS. I'm dropping in a 350/350 and cleaning things up some. Need some parts and looking for someone that does paint work on the side.
Reason I posted here is cuz I live near Victoria Va. Victoria is about half way between Richmond and Lynchburg so if you'er in the area let me know if you're interested in doing some business.
Cool site by the way. Getting some usefull info already.
Thanks
