maybe we should plan a little earlier. need to find out who is comming so we can maybe set aside some spots. Or come all together like the cobra pricks.
We set aside about 8 spots last time and only 5 cars made it. It was still pretty good though. Don't know if I'm gonna make it next time I just developed a radiator leak today.
Yes and No. I fixed an overheating problem. The problem was that the one wire connection about 6 inches from the battery has melted the connector. The wire was no longer making contact with the fan relays. So no fans. I fixed the problem with a butt connector and wired both fans together. Problem solved vey well. Today on my way to work I stopped off for some air in my front tires, I noticed the radiator was leaking from the plastic side tanks where they are crimped to the aluminum core. So the bird will be down until I can get the OK to purchase a new radiator. Long story short of corse.
[quote=87WhiteROC;3447756]Never heard of anyone laughing at cash. Cash could get you a new radiator about now, couldn't it?
Got another cool Chevy to drive to the cruise, can't help it if you don't like it.

Your right no one laughs at cash. Now a guy sitting next to a group of Camaros and Firebirds with 4 cylinder Lincoln, now thats funny. I myself would rather drive an overheating Firebird that pukes green than a lincoln. No offense of corse!
P.S. You might want to change your profile??

I saw you there on wed night... you were the guy hitting 5th gear LOL. You need to get a higher rear gear and quit that. Nice times with that 305 regardless
With a T56 and my 3.73s im crossing the 1/4 at the top of 4th about 5200rpm. About perfect for TPI. 4.30s would be way too much...4.10 might be perfect if i redlined a little higher. Though 13.3 aint bad at all good times 89305formula.
4.30a are super high. If he is hittin fith thats not so good. 3.42 or 3.73 would be nice for all around driving and track duty. 4.10s only for limited street unless you like a buzzy ride.
Anyone heading over there tonight? I should be there. (Not with the iroc though, I have to bleed the rear brakes/change a couple wheel studs/fix ebrake etc)
