Just what everyone has been waiting for! The Lowes Cruises will officially start Friday, April 6, 2007 from 4PM to whenever. Although we may be pushed further back in that lot, all else remains the same. Here's the address: LOWES 414 CONSTANT FRIENDSHIP BOULEVARD ABINGDON, MD 21009 These cruises happen every Friday night during the cruising season. I think we need some sort of club banner or such. Like your Iroc banner. It let's those searching for the group know where we are. Know any place that can crank one out cheap?? We could all pitch in a couple of bucks.

Found a cheap banner place on the web. Depending on the size of the banner, they are anywhere from $60 to $100. What do we want on the banner?

I was just thinking of something simple like "welcome to thirdgen.org cruise in" or something. Maybe we could come up with a club or group name. Your banner is good to have. Maybe display it so it's more visible or so.

I thought I would post up the first official welcome for the 2007 cruise at LOWES in abingdon. I hope to see new faces and rides April 6th.

We have a good core of people so far 4-6 as of last year. I hope we can get more people there this year. So if your in the area come down to the Lowes in abingdon around 5 or so. Just find the group of thirdgens and introduce yourself.

Notice I was there with MY IROC that has NOT sold yet. Came straight from Dent Doctors in Fallston. They repaired the tree damage on the roof, can't even see the damage anymore.

Nobody called me about that. Me and Terry and the women went to the drag strip and watched the retards stage past the tree. Then they would spin half way down the track.

It was totally unplanned! You didn't miss much. I was the only 3rd gen there most of the night, there was a 4th gen there too, but he left early.

I need to get your cell and Terry's cell! Thought I had them.

The DJ won't be there this weekend, but he'll start appearing on the 13th.

Watching retards at the track is fun.

I am new here and just learned about these cruises... I live about 2 and a half hours from this address so I will be down a few times this year when its warm and nice weather.

LOL I was there too. I think there was a rotary something or other there lined up with a mustang and they both tried to stage with the back tires

I hope to make it a few times this year. Although as it stands now, I work till 10PM on fridays. I'll have to see if I can get that changed for the month of may.

The real DIEHARD CRUISERS came out to Lowes tonight, 4/6.

Firechicken, Nazzz28, and 87WhiteROC joined about 30 other cruisers.

Friday the 11th I was WORKING on the IROC while you were playing at Lowes.

Had to get it ready for the Pony Car Showdown III in Williamsport, Maryland. I wasn't afraid of $3/gallon gas.

Does anyone still go to this? I've been there almost every Friday this summer and I've only seen a few other thirdgens there, but none that I recognize from here. I usually don't get there till 7:30. Maybe I'm getting there too late?

It's hard to drive cash rick. I mean you could walk into the cruise and sit next to us on a stack of cash. We would probably point and laugh though.

For the record, that was my younger brother's turbo 3.1 firebird with the blue fenders. Its a project. I'll try to be more social next time. Nice cars guys. Hopefully I'll get a tranny in my twin turbo camaro before the season is over and bring it up.

yeah I was in that picture up there... it would have been better if my car was there but seeing as i am rebuilding the tranny its kind of hard to drive it...
