Possibly making it to capital for test and tune

Im gonna try to make it to capital on friday for the test and tune. I have never raced at one and was wondering if anyone has some advice for me. I dont have a driveshaft loop which may be a problem. Does the car have to pass fullblown tech before you run or do they only check them depending on e.t.s? Im running my aluminum headed 406 with a 750 demon and a crane 226, 234 cam on a set of 315 nittos through a 373 posi. Will I need a loop?
Thanks,
Louis

There going to check the normal stuff, ask you what the ET is going to be or what you think it will be. They might check for the DL, and the N saftey switch. What time are you getting there, if possible get there early cause it gets packed. But then again there calling for rain so it mgiht scare people away. Good luck and post times. Who knows maybe I will see you there.

If you get there when they open up you will get a lot of runs in. It starts getting packed at like 7 or so. We raced at mason dixon Memorial day and it was hot and the car was way off casue track prep was not there, plus the altitude.

unfortunately the threat of rain has scared me away too, and driving the maro through 495 traffic and heat with the possibility of rain isnt too appealing. hopefully i can make it out next weekend
