MIR or Capital ? Need info

Our local track closes this week..how lame.. Anyway, I am thinking of racing a few more times this season at either Budd's creek or Capital Raceway. I looked at both their sites, but I want to know what it is like before I go that far. Anyone race there? How are the test and tune nights? Do you get many passes? Maybe we could all meet up at one on one of those nights. Just brain storming. Thanks!

Budds creek all the way. You will sit in the staging lanes all night at capitol for a track that has had zero prep. Capitol is the place to go if you just want to bullshit and shoot the **** but really unless you show up right when they open you will sit in the lanes all night for 2 passes.

I can get easily 5+ runs on any friday night at MIR and the track hooks!

I have had my best 60ft ever at Capitol Raceway 1.31 lifting both tires. Test and Tune nights are tough at Capitol I usually run the quick 8 class if I go on a test and tune night. The track prep as been really good at Capitol lately in the past yeah it has sucked. Try both tracks what can it hurt then you'll know.

Anyone want to meet up at MIR the weekend of the 18th in October? They are having two days of T&T. Might be a fun time.

I watched it I was on there pulling though the lanes and then they showed me going down the track. The track part was in black and white and they messed up the times but oh well at least I got ton TV. That pass I ran the 10.12 and the other guy ran like a 9.8x or something.
