I'm currently in AIT (job training) at Fort Eustis and am curious if there is anyone in my area? I've been deprived of vehicles for the last 4 months and it'd be sweet to be able to hang out around them, plus, if anyone has a GEN III or GEN IV motor in their thirdgen (or any vehicle) i'm getting HP tuners and learning how to tune here within the next month or so, and i might be willing to do a couple tunes for free, for the XP. ;-b.
my best friend since age 5 and i are both here and serious car fanatics lol, and if you need help working on your vehicle over the weekends just let us know lol, free labor is hard to come by :-D, we have plenty of experience we built my camaro back home.
Let me know! shoot me a pm and i can get you my number if you want.
Peace
Casey

I want a gen 3 camaro. Just can't find the right one. Easy to find decent looking automatics, but the manual ones are either beaten to death/neglected or cost way more. I really want a black manual 3rd gen camaro. There was one in norfolk naval base, but guy said car wouldn't start the day I wanted to look at it. There goes my luck!
Been watching craigslist, vadriven, autotrader for some local sellers, but no luck yet. It has to be within an hour or so away, i don't have much time to drive 3-8hrs to find a good deal, sucks I know, but that's the military for you.
I live in suffolk atm, will be living in norfolk before thanksgiving. I'm willing to learn about american cars and how they're designed and stuff. It's a little cheaper to have a domestic, too, hehe (sometimes, depends I guess lol).
sweet man, let me know if you need help picking the right thirdgen for you! haha. my friend and myself are willing to help work on it for you too! let me know if you are ever in the newport news, hampton, williamsburg, norfolk area lol.

Im in Norfolk till Nov. 2nd. and have a vert f/s if your interested. search norfolks craigslist for novi 2000 and you will find the add.
Interesting. Wasn't really looking for a convertible lol.
Does the car run? I want a future project that I can dd for now while I learn all about the camaro and so that I don't have to drive my evo everyday.
Likes:
Engine with all the goodies, only 100mi
Super charger
Exterior looks nice form pictures
Black interior
Rims and tires (how are the tires?)
Dislikes:
Convertible (prefer t-top, if can't fall in love with convertible, probably swap it out to a good body t-top in the far far future)
White (prefer black, but can always paint it hehe)
Auto (can sell tranny and probably break even to get a t56)
Not tuned (still learning how to tune, going to experiment on evo when I get the chance, got a new laptop and cables to hook up to the stock ecu)
Rollbar (I like to look stock as much as possible, sleeper/subtle look)
I'm pretty anal about things when modifying a car. Black manual third gen camaro...would be sweet to have, but really really hard to find one for sale in the condition I want.
I'll keep searching, compare and contrast, don't want to spend all my money into just the camaro lol.
this is a little late but im in the newport news area pretty much at jefferson and denbigh. hopefully you are still in the area. have a couple of questions, really just one, i'd like to run by you if you and your buddy work on these cars.
