Re: Richmond,Va anyone?

I've got an '86 IROC, black, 305 TPI. Don't drive it as much as I used to but I still like to get it out when it's warm enough to take the t-tops out.

I'm getting too old to enjoy really running it hard (last time I had it up to 120 or so on the interstate messing with a BMW 740i the little voice in the back of my head kept telling me to slow down) anymore but I still get a kick out of messing with the high dollar foreign cars on the ramps.

I keep saying I'm going to build an engine for my other '86 IROC (red) but I always find something else to spend my money on.

Howdy. I have a black 89 Formula. It's my fun car so you'll only see me on the weekends or some sunny afternoons. My plate is "NOT KITT" 'cause I'm sick of the comparison. I'm around the Chesterfield airport area.

I usually wave at any 3rd gen I see, like seeing distant family members.

Re: Richmond,Va anyone?

Anyone recall seeing a black IROC with Ontario plates around Midlothian? I get to Fredericksburg once a year at the end of May and have been around the Richmond area a couple of times. Shopping for a Camaro actually. ( Anyone know a big guy named Peanut?) It would be cool to meet with some 3rd gen folks when I'm there this year.

I'm off rt 10 just inside city limits of Richmond. With a black '89 IROC-Z convertible, but it's been off the road since '06. Working on getting it back on the road.

Re: Richmond,Va anyone?

Hi all! I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 92 RS vert and am looking forward to doing some minor and major fixes to it although it's in decent shape. I'm in Brandermill on the south side of Richmond. Anyone want to come over and help me do some wrenching? Just kidding but I'm sure I'll be looking for some advice and tapping into your expertise as time goes on.

Right now I have the entire cooling system pulled out. I have the new parts to go back in but this damn snow is killing my repair time. Let me know if you want to hook up.
