Just turned 40 here....
I'll bust up the first guy that calls me "old man"!!
Hey everyone... Blue just told me and my hubby about this site so we thought we would check it out. If you cant figure it out, we are from Kenowhere as well. Anyway, my hubby and i are currently restoring a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. Got it for free which rocks but with everything free comes a price. So far the work we have done on this car only costed us about $30 if that. When we got the car the rear Transmission mount was busted, so we fixed that, gave the tranny a fluid and filter change, also replaced the driver side door which the last people that owned it kinda tacoed, and rebuilt the driverside caliper. The car ran and drove the day we got it, just had to take it easy because of the tranny mount lol. Now we are in the process of finding a new tranny because we just lost reverse when we did the fluid change and its also tryin to slip on us here and there. Anyway, we thought we would post here and say hi and give a little info about what we are doin with our thirdgen car.

I second that... i also have weekends off, and its getting cold by the day...
yes i agree somewhere in doors to meet, then maybe a nice 3rd gen cruise around town? question is tho... where will we all meet? any suggestions? preferably Kenosha area.
just put the dual cat setup and 3 inch flowmaster exaust under my car sounds real good but it feels like i lost some of my low end torqe o-well guess ill have to get some headers to get the torqe back.
hey this is my first post. im purchasing a 91 z28 hopefully this week and i live in kenosha. if you see a dark blue z28 with lite blue flames up thefront thats me. the guy im buying from has to fix a few things prior to me handing over the check. i will probably be asking alot of questions since this is my first V8. i love vdubs but my current soon to be last car, chrysler conquest turned me away from I4's. so i guess you could say i have come over from the dark side. im getting a bunch of crap from my friends(all drive imports) but o-well. well if you see the car discribed above dont be afraid to say hi.

91 Z's are nice. What size engine? 305 or 350?? TPI either way...any mods already? Or just paint?
well vbud aka volkswagons. i like german engineering.
as for the car its a 305 tpi (for now, soon to be a 350) its got short headers, exhaust all the way back to flowmasters, cranecams fireball ignition, poly's front to rear, the t700r4 has a 2200 stall from b&m and a shift kit.
he swapped out the stock rear end for a 3:23 out of a 89 iroc. i dont know if that is good or bad yet. i really need to drive it for a while. its very different than driving a conquest. but hey once i get my hands on this 350 a friend of mine has my import friends wont be able to say jack and just :hail: me.
Bryce
Your import friends should already:hail: you. You have a real sports car and not some cheap handed down family ride with 100,000 miles on a 1.8L engine with a fart can tip. I really dislike imports, some days in the summer I go out just to track and hunt down ricers.
i know what u mean. when i have free time i cruise around Zion or Gurnee and just look for **** to kill. it can be quite fun. When are we all going to meet up?!
