I bought this car a couple years ago with the intentions of pulling the transmission and sending it to the junkyard. After looking, the body was pretty straight and very little rust. I just couldn't let it go, so the plans changed to "fix it up and sell it". It's almost to that point. I need money for my '83 though so I'm willing to let it go even if I lose some on the deal.
First of all here's what is wrong with it.
-Brakes don't work, caliper is stuck. I have a set of working calipers, pads, and rotors to go with the car.
-No transmission in car. Included is a rebuilt TH400 from advance auto with auxilary cooler, B&M shift kit-new in box, new fluid, and a driveshaft which can be shortened for use in the firebird- new in box b&m star shifter. I never got around to installing any of this, I have about a grand just in this transmission setup alone.
-No exhaust system. There are a set of shorty headers and collector extentions on the engine just no exhaust piping. I was waiting until the trans. was in before welding up an exhaust system.
-One headlight is stuck in the up position, no guages other than speedo and dummy lights. Interior needs a real good cleaning, it's pretty nice other than one small tear in the seat which could be repaired.
-Needs windshield installed-included with car.
That's all I can think of right now. You probably won't be driving it away unless I get the trans. in and brakes working, I have access to an auto hauler and would be willing to deliver for cheap after payment. Here's the good stuff.
-Edelbrock performer intake
-350 4bolt 2.02 heads
-two sets of wheels, 15" camaro, 14" cragars, good tread on both sets.
-several spare 10bolt rears
-body is straight, hasn't been in any wrecks. Single stage yellow paint job
-two hoods, an extra fender
-750 edelbrock carb included (needs rebuild)
-ac delete heater box included, not installed
I'm sure there's more i'm missing. I'll try to get the transmission in the car and brakes working first couple weeks in May so that it's driveable. There's at Leeast 2500.00 into this car and I have receipts for most of it. I have pictures before, during the body work/painting. No pic's online yet. clean title. Asking 2,000.00 or Best Offer! email me if interested. Price will go up with more work I get done on it. rokztar200mph@yahoo.com
