Mark your calendars.the National Corvette Museum presents its second annual gathering of Camaros and Firebirds! September 20th through 21st has been set aside at the Museum in hosting the legendary F-Body Cars. Our collective goal is to present the first-ever reunion of 1,000 Camaros and Firebird!

We will start the festivities with on Friday, September 20th with planned VIP tour of the Corvette Assembly Plant , a full morning of low speed autocrossing at Beech Bend Racepark complete with celebrity guest exhibition runs (a certain someone promises to stay on the designated race course this time!), scenic road tour seminars and tech sessions in the Chevrolet Theater and of course opportunities to add to your memorabilia….a celebrity autograph session. We will cap the evening with a caravan to the 1869 Homestead of Jan and Wendell Strode's for some good 'ole, down-home southern BBQ. The Strode's have opened their estate one more time for us to enjoy a pleasant evening of good company and food.

Saturday will again feature informative seminars from invited celebrities that were intimately involved in the production and design of these wonderful sportscars. Take your time and visit the NCM as you've not done so before, taking in the sights and sounds of Corvette's home! Another premiere scenic road tour together with a celebrity autograph session outdoors to allow some of us to have our favorite celebrity personalize our "pride and joy," And don't forget, the full day of drag racing action at Beech Bend Racepark!

Saturday evening will be the high watermark of the event as we dine in the Museum's Skydome. Catered by one of the region's finest restaurant and libations available beginning at 5:00 p.m. Guest speakers, autocross and drag racing award presentation and a benefit auction of Camaro and Firebird memorabilia, will highlight this truly unique dining experience.

And if all of that is not enough, Sunday features a People's Choice Car Show, a radio controlled car racing (RC) and a Gimmick Poker Run that will give everyone an opportunity to once again enjoy the scenery that only south central Kentucky can offer!

Capping the weekend off at around One o'clock will the awards recognition for the car show, RC racing and Gimmick Poker Run winners. Almost forgot…. door prize drawings! prize drawings!
