Firebird / Camaro doors are they the same

Seems like I purchased a set for a Camaro and installed them on my Firebird and there seems to be a gap right above the door handle where the door meets the body ....Can anyone help let me know if they are different or if they are the same .... The original door that was on the car fit perfectly without the gap...........Any help would be appreciated....
