I have an 87 iroc that i took out the 305 and put in a 350 both are tpi motors. My iroc has the t-5 manual tranny. will this chip work without setting a code for not having auto trany hook up?

Re: FS: ADS Superchip for '87, 5.7 TPI

I had a 87, GTA. Some lady T-Boned me. I swapped it all over to a 84 Z28, and used the T-5 out of it. It seemed to work fine in that. If your still using the 305 ECU it may throw codes. I used the 350 computer, wiring harness, and all though. Im not sure if theres a difference or not.

I put it in at the same time I put in the TFS heads, lingenfelter cam, Super ram intake, ect, ect. If you want it, just make it 40 bucks.

Ok cool. Seems like they were advertised as 15-25 HP or something. Its the "off road version". Your supposed to use a 160 thermostat and stuff with it. Ive had it since about '93, and have had 7 different cars since then. lol I just really dont remember alot about it. I'm really not sure it would work anyway, if you wanted it for a 88. I believe it said '87 only. Can anyone verify that ?
