American Iron Shootout III "Jake" Brown Memorial 4/24

This Is A goDragRacing.com Sponsored Event

Anytime you look at what you are going to expect to see in upcoming races during the season, none stands out more than the American Iron Shootout III at Cecil County Dragway April 24th, and its cause; Jacob “Jake” Brown whose life was cut short on New Years Eve of 2003 by a drunk driver. Proceeds from this event will go to "Jakes" family.

This is a happening event and has been sending waves of interest across the east coast. Tony "TAZ" Guevara’s race didn’t happen overnight as most don’t, but even in its infancy the buzz had been created and the turnouts were impressive to say the least. Tony’s intentions were clear from the beginning, to build a race that had something for everyone and this year is complete and full of great new classes to have at it with the racer in the next lane.

The enormous horsepower of the outrageous Quick 8 and Outlaw 10.5 cars, The Superior Index classes, The Drag Radial cars that do it on treads, to the Classic Six Pack Nationals, are there for the excitement and pleasure of all the fans and racers. This year Tony also brings a new milestone to this race with a cash payout Car Show!

Many of you that showed up for these races were fortunate enough to see one of the finest exhibitions in a season soaked in wet weather, yet the race was complete and the show was fantastic in every sense of the word. Sponsors efforts have brought more fun into the game with cash, prizes, and gifts to the racers that prove themselves on the track this April 24th. The Official American Iron Shootout III website provides everything you need to prepare, schedule and get to this race ready to give it your best shot at taking something home. You will be proud to look back afterwards, say “I was there” and it was an awesome event.
