ok guys i just purchased the motor, planning on getting hawks k member, is the 04 ls1 oil pan different? will it work or should i swap in a 4th gen pan? i believe its still throttle by cable but it was a good deal w/ trans, wiring and computer and extremely low miles.... so i jumped on it. anyone able to point me in the right direction? thanks..

should thrown this question in the LS1 swap board. The GTO pan is different than the camaro pan, and from what I've seen/read, I believe you need a 4th gen pan. good luck!
