Long Island people! LS1 swap

Has anyone on Long Island or near Long Island ever done in LS1 Swap into there 3rd gen?

I am planning on going from a 2.8 v6 5-speed to an LS1 T-56. I don't know what i need to do the swap so any information would be amazing!
and if you have pictures that would be plus.
