CaysE has decided that it's time to move on, and before he goes, I want to say thanks for a job well done.
I've been in this forum often enough to see that it generally runs like clockwork and as a result, it's not likely that I'll have much moderating to do at all. This forum has a good group of guys that get along well and I think that you'll all make my job very easy.
One thing I would like to change though, is the number of people that visit this forum. I'm sure there are a lot of guys on the board from the north east, and it's time to get them in here so that activity can pick up. Take a minute to invite any thirdgenner that you know online or in your area to come in and take a look, and maybe make a post or two.
Hey Jim, I normally take a peek in here, every so often. Its funny that you mention picking up new members, as I always tell people, with third gens, at cruises, and the track, to pay us a visit.
i feel like i havent vist this site in a long time. i noticed in lower connecticut that there seems to be a bit more third gens out there. need to get the word out to them
Hello Jim . I have not posted hear in some time I just kind of lurk .The car took a back seat to the Harley this summer . I have all kinds of mods going on the camaro this winter and hope to hook up with some of the locals in the spring.I do not see many third gens but I do pass the word when I do .Thanks
Just want to say Hi! Just got my third gen and am enjoying (and learning a lot!) on the forum. btw, my first car when I was 17 in 1976 was a '68 327 2bbl auto, then in the early '80s I had a second gen, a '74 that I rodded into a 400hp LT-1. So now the 3rd gen. Having these forums sure does speed up the learning curve. When I was a younger punk time was spent prowling junk yards and looking in the dark corners of older guys shops for those oh so hard to find 202 heads and other assorted goodies. Now I prowl around e-bay, and other forums looking for stuff, the modern mans junk yard and encyclopedia all rolled into one! Joe
