Yea. I can't wait to see those numbers
btw orr. i meant to ask you a question. I remember getting some advice from you on my FIRST engine build. you suggest AFR 195s for it. However i've had to do some serious rust work on the Grand Am and im down another pile of money. My dad suggested a 355 since "I've had really good luck with them, and it won't require any machine work for the crank. If that's still not enough power when your done, then you can just do a LSx swap later". Sounds good to me, and my budget. Anyways, my question is, on the smaller displacment engine, would the 180s be better? Or, with what you have seen on the FIRST system and what you know about engiens, do you think it would flow well enough to stay with the 195s, and just get a cam to match. I only ask cause i was reading the 180s are from idle to 5500, and the 195s are from 2000 to 6500. I was kinda shooting for a 1500 - 6000 power band, so i wasn't sure what would be better. Its kinda right in the middle. Although i also was going to spray ~150 so maybe the 195s are better either way???? No clue. Im still so new to this stuff so i figured i ask u if it wasnt much trouble.
and Summit has AFRs now (maybe i just couldnt find em before. but now i can!)
also, anyone need a hatch/ hatch glass?? I got the one off my iroc. I dont wanna junk it cause the glass is perfect, but i can't find anyone that needs one and i don't have the room.

ALot of ppl run TPI stuff with 195's. they wont kill the motor at all. 180's are great heads too tho and you cant go wrong with those for a 355 either. For a bigger cam definately do the 195's.
More streetable 355 with smaller mid grade cam would be 180's i'd say |

its the same price because its the same base casting i believe with same parts, just smaller port cut on the cnc machines. |

But ya. I think i'm going to be planning a dash swap from analog to digital. I was wonderin if there is anybody in the area that could help me out when i decide to do it. If anybody knows someone that can help, hit me up.
PS we need to have a meet sometime soon. |

but the car runs and runs good. Tracked it once already and ran 11.67 at 116 with more in it which is good hope to see low 11's at 120 in good air |

It was a wash but still a good show for the hour and change it was running. THere were maybe 10 thirdgens. i think like 3 firebirds that were kinda crappy. A pretty good running GTA (low 13s maybe) a few FAST white RS's (12's?) and this one totally crazy black camaro that whooped up on everyone (11s)
unfortunately i couldn't quite piece my baby together in time |

I should finally have mine at wexford this friday. I ordered wheels and tires 9 weeks ago and finally got 3 of them thursday. DHL lost one and then decided the second time around that next day shipping from cincinnati should take about 4 days I did take it out for a little drive without an inspection sticker and the afpr definitely helped alot.

I got the Foose nitrous legends. The ones in the pic kind of look like them but its hard to tell. The spokes on the foose might be a little narrower. The three that I have look great on the car. Should have gotten bigger tires for the rear though. I may do that for next year. |

I had to take the molding off to paint and it was getting pitted anyway. I still need to get the decals and wraparound spoiler, but that may have to wait awhile. I'll get pics up as soon as I get everything together and take a break from driving it. I've only really had it out twice this year, and that was before the ignition and afpr. I miss driving it. |

Ordered a new amp, new headliner since Ive never had one since I bought the car, and a power door relay from a guy on here. Already got the amp and installed it, its ridiculous, period lol. Headliner should take a few weeks to receive, but I cant wait to get it into the car. Relay should be here in a few days.
Next on the list is a nice Grant Steering Wheel
