Car: 1986 Z28 Camaro Engine: Rebuilt 82' 305 Transmission: T-5 Axle/Gears: Non-Posi stock =( | NHRA Summer Nationals, Worcester Mass ** SORRY ABOUT THE TITLE
I was misinformed about who ran the summer nationals. i was not too sure who it was, so I checked, and apparently got my information from an unreliable source...it is not NHRA
Hey! If you have never been to this, go this year!!!! Its on the 4th of July weekend. This is the best car show in all of New England!!! In the morning check out the thousands upon thousands of hot rods up in green hill park. It is an amazing site walking up there and seeing nothing but power and beauty for miles. That is fun and all, but the real action happens in the afternoon-night on Main Street. This is the perfect spot for an event like this. the road sloping down to the underpass is where the flame throwers and burnouts take place =)... yes flame throwers. Cars that shoot flames high into the air. http://www.summernationals.com/06_im...eviewer013.jpg
Watch where you pick your spot thought. Last year we were right next to these guys, and i literally had to jump away from the fence because my face felt like it was going to melt =P. Thats another thing. Goto main street fairly early, because the people are like vultures for a spot. If you are a fan of burnouts, this is the place for you. After the flame throwers, they do burn outs until 2-3AM. =) Fun times. You can even bring your 3rd Gen and do the burnouts! I say we make a group and do this to show new england some real power =D.
Well, i know there is still 2 months until this event, but I wanted to give EVERYONE that doesn't know about it a heads up. Mark it on your calenders! I will Post another when it comes closer!
HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!!
-Andrew
P.S. Post your experiences & Pics from the Summer Nationals Here!!!!! | | |
