Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the NYC area? Who's not going to rip me off and knows how to fix a firebird?

I want to know that there's someone I can trust if I get this firebird. I just don't want to keep patronizing a mechanic who I know ripped me off. I have not found one honest mechanic in the city.

I spent over $500 fixing my current POS and in the end I solved the problem with a $3 PCV valve.

idk where in ny u are but im from yonkers and i could prolly give u the names of about 20 reliable shops up here in westchester. depending on what kind of shop ur looking for of course. for the custom and real big stuff there AI in tuckahoe and Audiovisions in Whiteplains... they aint cheap but damn they are impressive, prolly the best on the east coast including those idiots on mtv. for stock repairs and maintenance theres Vincent Autobody in mamarrowneck, they're decently priced and they are reliable... there are many others like em but i only deal with themhope that helped
