My bet is that it was 500 for a tune.. They do tune good.. Customer service is lacking and fixing problems under warranty is kinda out..
Aside from the charge, it's the fact that he'll be installing a turbo charger in just a matter of weeks, and it will definitely need another tune. The person that I spoke w/there pretty much implied that they'll charge the full amount again the second time around, which is ridiculous. I was like, "look, we're coming back again for another tune after the turbo is installed, can't you go easy on the initial tune's charge", nut no dice....

Thanks Camaroal for the pics... He takes great photos
I seen Al w/Melissa awhile back in March, had no idea who they were, only that Melissa took out Paul in the previous page that night. Paul has two Turbo Buicks, and he was racing the slower one in Melissa's index that night; high 11, low 12 range. I'll prolly get to meet Al in person during the SLP day....
We met Steve last night for the first time, and what a very nice guy! I wanted to get a video of him running down the track, but by the time we got there he already completed two runs, and by the time we got to our lane they had already pulled his for the last one. Still can't get over how many cars were there last night.....

Lemme paint you a picture; I'm down underneath the car (remember I don't have the luxury of a lift like some people lol), lowering the tranny to hook up the 12-volt source for the lock up, when suddenly the phone rings LMMFAO! I slowly make my way out from under the car, but by that time voicemail answers. Listen to the voicemail, doesn't really require a call back, so I text back the info needed. CRAWL back underneath the car, position myself under the tranny, get settled, when two minutes later THE DAMN PHONE STARTS RINGING AGAIN! I just turn the fawker off after awhile.....

Let me paint what I believe is a more accurate picture here...
The phone rings...It is your financial adviser,It is pretty early in the morning...He Is doing his daily check in to tell you haw much money you have in your various accounts,And how much Interest you have made from the previous day. This obviously is a lengthy call,By time the afternoon hits (still on the phone with finance guy)..the both of you are exhausted...Him from just the sheer volume of numbers he has to go through...And you just from having to listen to it,And try to figure out how you can even spend all of it.
After this phone call ends...(3pm or so)...You go lay down with a big smile on your face and take a nap...thus not answering you phone for the rest of the day...
After you wake up...You cant stand the thought of having to put the phone to your ear anymore for the day...So you send out text messages to all that called throughout the day.
Yeah...From what I hear..Your 60' and Reaction times run along the same times...
Dude, I'm not Paulie LOL, I'm gonna pull you so freaking hard from off of the line you'll be in tears by the time you hit the 1/8th mile marker. I mean, it's gonna look exactly like this, Click Here (I'm the blue one to the right of the screen), albeit w/third gens though....

Looks like it'll be me and you in the finals, cuz I don't think the GTO's have what it takes. We'll see this Sunday over at the Park, when SLP does it's thang. Will take a few videos to show everybody what we're up against, but don't expect much though fella's....
Get that GTA boosted soon Shawn, the Iroc-Z28 awaits....

I tried to stretch it as far forward as October 25th, gives everyone a chance to tune they're turbo's lol. The track is fine with that date, ain't much going on after the Corvette challenge. Unless your guys are a-scared, and wanna schedule it for sometime in November when nobody's watching....
GONE preview too bad his clutch was slipping else it would have been closer race than it turned out to be (12.4 to my mid 11's) Just not enough goat that day
Was thinking about something, but then I realized that there really is no need for us to come up with a name for ourselves, as we'll be giving the name "Gone" and entirely new meaning, cuz that's all they'll be saying to themselves all day long; "Damn, did you see that Iroc, it was gone" lol. "Yeah, and that GTA too, it was there one second, but the next second it was gone". Reaction times and sixty foots on their side are freaking meaningless, as we'll be raping them GTO's from the moment the green light flashes.

Rob where were you yesterday i was looking for you so we can talk about the race with e-town staff.
As for reaction times these are Melissa from yesterday @ E-town
Melissa was almost dead on yesterday on the tree
RD1 .065
RD2 .092
RD3 .073
4th .134 bye run Semi .000 but broke out by.011 but a new personal best of 11.849 on a 11.86 dial so close to going to her 3rd final this year

I was honestly having some difficulties with the Camaro yesterday, I couldn't get the fan to come on, so I had to rig a fan relay constant off of a 12-volt source while making it look factory. I broke a tranny mount last night as well, and I unfortunately missed today's Import vs Domestic event. They don't stock automatic tranny mounts for some reason, so I'm forced to wait a couple of days for the polyurethane mount from Summit Racing....

autozone stocks both the factory mount and the poly mount,
rob u gonan be able to get out to e-town on wensday or friday, gonna see if i cant get shawn behind the wheel again he only got to make one pass in my car at 7 psi as a test run we fixed the tune and cranked the boost to 15 psi but kept blowing the intercooler pipes off it int he burnout box

That's why I was trying to call you yesterday, Pep Boys and Strauss had absolutely nothing, and I needed to get a mount on the car for today....

Yup, I'm going. Shawn was telling me that the Camaro smoked an LS1, but you didn't get the actual run on tape, just the burnout......??????
oh that too, stil working on the tune for it. Think its a touch lean up top, but every where else its good so far. I am not sure i gained anything yet since its abit lean but hopefully this week i'll get back at it

Sucks the car broke we had a little trans leak ourself but i did a quick fix to it till the new seal comes in,
She says thanks, that was her 2nd perfect light of the year, she had one back in march when she broke into the 11's as a bolt on
No Jetnitro won the race Melissa raced him in the semi fianls and broke out by .011 with the pefect light
car boged out of the hole 2 times
and nosed over bad going into high gear big lean spot in the fuel map and only 12* total ignition timing, fuel table is fixed now just gota get a test pass in and then throw 6* of advance back in it, that 6* is killing the power but it makes tunning the fuel table much safer at this point.
the new injectors arent as liner in flow as the old ones thats why my fuel table is all ****ed up
Dont know...But If I had to guess...I would say one hell of an awesome guy...
Shawn, don't forget your superman costume. You'll be running two cars this week. Run Daves w/the groucho disguise, then run into the tech booth and change into your superman costume and run the GTA....
lmfao, thats why i said when hes free, dying to get a 15 psi pass in
Umm, you do know that I cut better reaction times than Shawn, right? I mean, Shawn couldn't cut a piece of paper, let alone a decent green light. He got lucky with your car is all....

lol...Other 2 runs were both .00x red.
Whenever you find the right combination of Paper clips and Gorilla glue to hold that car together...Bring it down to E-Town for your Azz Woooopin!!!
