Dont take too much offense to the Power adder thing,You gotta do what you gotta do to get those GTO's to actually go fast...lol.

From what I have seen...It looked like low 10's would in fact get it done....I see you will be picking the 9.5 to 9.99 class...Did you find room to actually ad another power adder on there?...

I will be going for my comp License in a few weeks(Car is @ wildrides getting the cage finished)...If you like,I will let you know when I will be there..Will probably be a wed.Or fri nite...I will be in a white T type..Full weight street car(PUMP GAS).If you would like to line up for shitz and giggles..I would be all for it.Should be fun.

Oh yeah...And that will be a single turbo V6... with Overdrive and A/C..lol

No need to ADD a nother Just Turn up what we have....WE also Have A/C and only a 3 speed trans Foot brake only...and 9.99 will be NO Problem we Think 9.80s is the Number for the GTO....See you soon...Frank

If I can get my hands on the LS1, I may be able to swing by and pick up the heads. If not, is there any way to bring them back with you to the house, it would make it easier for me to nab them sometime this week. Head gaskets should be here by Friday/Saturday. Also, do I need to port them out on the intake side, or is that somewhat done already....?

Track's not going anywhere, could always hit up Atco one night so you can run and go all out with it before surgery if tonight's a no go. Might have to tow you with the Camaro though, now that would be a very funny sight...

its not a matter of the track being open its a matter of me feeling up to actually driving, the walk the few blocks back and forth to the store has been wiping me out since ive been out of the hospital. then again i lost 18lbs over that week and wasnt eating but im starting to feel alil better each day now

^ Thanks again for the heads Dave, just finished porting the hell out of them, as well as installing them. Gonna fire her up sometime tomorrow, and dial her in this Wednesday at the track. Disregard the water pump in the pic, it's coming off tomorrow, w/the electric pump replacing it. Also going to touch up the block the same chevy orange. Turbo will be on shortly....

Just kidding, I just like the color scheme better w/aluminum than w/black....

How am I gonna get your car tomorrow bro, my car won't be alive until the afternoon. Did you call Paul? Can he get us to the shop in the morning? If he can, I'll drive it no problem. Only problem then is, how do we get it back (with me getting back home lmao)....

Are you kidding, I opened yours up even more than they were, even more than that Holley ProJection manifold that I did last year, that's why I had the phone off all day. I even hogged out the Edlebrock RPM Performer manifold to compliment the heads. I'm just pissed that I didn't get the chance to install the camshaft that I wanted to (I had a CC-306 lying around), but then again I'm going to have a new one spec'ed for the turbo charger anyways in the coming weeks. Right now it's running a mystery cam....

ouch bro big mistake making those ports larger,u may have possible hurt those heads flow wise

there was a reason they werent hogged out, those heads actually lose flow when u just enlarge them.

thats why most of the attention was paid to them in the bowl and valve quide areas over increasing the actual volume of the ports

witht he exception of the ex sides

did u keep the bowl shape the same as i had?

The bowls were already done perfectly on both heads....

Intake and exhaust ports were only touched up on one, and opened entirely on another....

They're gonna do very well, especially with 8:5.1 compression....

Ahhh, we got one player down. Shawn recently parted with that beautiful GTA w/LS1 swap, but I'm sure him and his new ride will be looking to stop on a few GTO's that day. Can't wait to see him and Walt going at it, so be ready Frank....

Dave upped the boost on his turbo V6, and is inching his way closer and closer to his original index. The car is going to flat out fly, and preliminary 20+psi testing will happen this Wednesday for those who wanna come down and join us at the track....

Been reading Justin's threads, and he's now in the freaking high 10's, with plenty more to come. Excellent work Justin, and I'm hoping you can make it down with us (I know it's a very long ride for ya)....

I know my buddy Paul will have something in store with one of his 3rd Gen Trans Am's. He's a mastermind with Turbo Buicks, and for those who know him as well as I do, he'll have the turbo v6 swapped, tuned, dialed in, and running low tens in a single weekend....!

My LT1 intake swap and MegaSquirt ECM will be on and tuned very shortly, along with the front mount w/T76 turbo setup....

Where does everyone else on our side stand, and if you need a hand with tuning and/or installations, now is the time to ask. October is creeping up on us, and even the staff at the track is looking forward to the run. Hell, even one of the tech guys will be running with us in his blown GTA....

Yeah, I spoke w/one of the guys that I know over in tech when I made my horrid baseline pass w/the Camaro. Nothing major has been planned, and/or postponed for that day, so we're good to go. I asked to email me immediately if he hears otherwise, and so far so good....

its coming down to the wire for me, i want a 12 bolt by then or else i'll have to risk racing on the 10 bolt. i have the 8pt bar i just need to install it. i want to do my interior but not sure when that will be. I want to do it at the same time as the roll bar but who knows

if i get a 12 bolt and 3.73 gears with my new slicks, i may beable to launch off the bottle and definately go mid 10's. If not i'll try sticking to a smaller shot and shoot for the 11.0 index on the 10 bolt and look to get the cage in

i have a buddy that MAY beable to trailer my car down! If so that will be awesome

I think I have my car legally safe enough now minus the trans shield. Hopefully they don't look for that. I havent even run my car once yet, but I'm planning on mid to low 10s. But thats just a guess and I'm a rookie. I'm keeping my truck now so I'll trailer it down. I'm still working on the tuning, working on vent tube extensions to bring my afr down from 14:1 at wot. I need to get it to the track real soon and see what it does!

I just felt a modern muscle car should have a turbo and be unique so that is why I put a rear mounted STS kit on my car. Best time as of yet is 10.353 @131 but what I thought would make all of you chuckle was a picture of it from the back end illustrating how close the photo shop pic was

looks good man, STS kit huh? how well does that work? i've heard good and bad about rear mounts.

Once i get my car setup right, you'd be a good race for me. I expect near 130mph traps

Thanks I appreciate the kind words. The original STS kit needed to be modified to keep the pipes together and I changed out the original turbo to a T-70, I run at 12.5 psi of boost comes in hard just about 60'. Working on that probably will get a 2 step to help build boost leaving the line.

Re: "Judgement Day", GTO vs F-Body Shootout @ Englishtown Raceway Park....

^ There's going to be quite a few fast cars showing up from both sides, and hopefully everyone is in the zone. Last night a Grand National flipped over by the scoreboard, and it gave everyone quite the scare. Nobody was hurt, thank goodness, but trapping 130-mph plus is definitely no joke, so everyone please stay focused....

Re: "Judgement Day", GTO vs F-Body Shootout @ Englishtown Raceway Park....

^ Why would you think that? Quite a few of us will be there to race. This race is for us guys, not for the track lol. As soon as I mentioned this to Paul in the tower, he assumed we were looking to rent the track out. That Saturday has nothing big happening, so the friends we have in tech (so long as the second session was open) are going to assign us our lanes, and we're going to battle it out, best of three. Although I have to admit, it would have been cool for them to plaster the challenge on the website though....
