Re: NJ!

im in woodbridge, nj. I have an 85 Z28 iroc i've been considering selling. its only got 69,000 miles legit. its a 305 quadrajet, automatic, solid roof, black with a grey interior. paint is good, could use a good polish. interior is good, has power seat, just a little faded from sun in some spots. car runs good and rides tight. car was female drivin, up till when i bought it, and i never really drove it that much. I do believe its a true IROC even though its carburated. I did a lot of research myself, and you could get a carburated IROC in 85, then 86 and on the went TPI. Its got the bigger sway bars, and the k-member support in the front frame, which only IROC's had. Let me know what you think its worth to ya. Its driveable as is, just need inspection.

Re: NJ!

I am from Andover, NJ with a Dark Sand Gray Metallic 1984 Trans Am that came from the Norwood factory with a L69 (305 HO) and T-5, WS6, W62, G80, and T tops. Car is laid up in the garage at the moment because of an engine swap. I swapped out for an 87 LG4 with all the L69 external goodies, Fuel pump, carb, computer, distributor, exhaust etc. The 87 engine was free and it had 80K miles on it. I have it cranking but it won't fire. I am shooting for the original class at Hershey in the Fall. I am doing it for fun so whatever is wrong with the car won't bother me. Hoping to have it at some of the local cruise nights this summer.

Re: NJ!

Won't make it to Dynowars because I am in school. Gotta get the car running again too. Wish I could have gone. Because of the frankenstien nature of my motor '87 LG4 and '84 L69 hybrid I have no idea what I am putting out. I've heard estimates from 175-250 HP depending on if I have the 8.6:1 or 9.3:1 cam in the 87 motor. The Dyno could have been useful....
