Hello, is there anyone else here from Maine? There is an old thread somewhere way down the Northeast region list, but its gettin' old, so I thought I'd put up a new one. I know there are thirdgens up here, because I see them around . . .
I don't live there anymore, but I was in the Oxford area for 16 years. I moved a couple years ago. There is/was a guy in the Auburn area with 40-50 third generation Camaros and Firebirds. Most get chopped into race cars, but he had quite a few T tops kicking around too.
i be lookin for ya, i plan going to the big dipper when i get the chance to check out the cars. i hear there has been some nice cars showing up. my car will not be on the road till probably next summer if i'm lucky.
Cool - I''l see you there - I'm not hard to spot - I usually go to cruise nights with a friend of mine who is blind - he has an online car parts locating business, and likes to go to hook up with people who are looking for hard-to-find parts. I'll be the tall blond guy in the flowered shirt - with the white '90 RS 'vert, which still looks quite a bit like a used car, at this point . . .
It's good to see that there are a few of us up here - I know that there are a lot of the cars still on the road, because I see them all over. When you encounter someone else who's driving a third gen, tell 'em about this site - the more the merrier . . .
So. Now that we know who is in maine. What do you guys specialize in? Any hobbies around here. Things we could all do? or things we could help each other out with?
As far as car-related hobbies go, Mike, my thing is pretty much anything short of bodywork - mechanical, electrical, etc. I'll pick up and learn what
I have to in order to move my project along - Anyone else?
I can paint, car audio and mechanical are my biggest expertise. welding im ok at. engines i don't really know much at all. Basically anything electrical or computers i rock.
