Re: nepa?

lol nah i meant "talk shop" like an idiom, talk shop just means converse on car topics. i want to do the work myself, but installing a rear is kind of a 2 person job. i just dont know many ppl around here, my driveway is way steep and i dam sure dont know anyone to help me work on my car. but if you know the place that will weld up exhaust for the cheapest in hawley, i need to know, thanks-Ron

Well. we live in a economicly depressed part of the state that is only lively really in the summer months. I have heard alot about the shops around in the area. i personally use the pontiac buick gmc dealer in honesdale for my firebird. i got my tune up done there and my 2.73 posi rear rebuilt there. they are expensive but do a good job. i think they charge 65-75 per hour for labor. i dont think they would like to be bothered by an exhaust job. i have heard alot of mixed things about Mike Southernton's shop on route 6 in between hawley and honesdale, just past teaples junk yard. He has a huge sign that says "CUSTOM EXHAUST". his number is (570) 226-4624. website: http://mikesoutherton.biz/ He did the exhaust on my bothers probe a few years back. he did a custom header back for like 125 dollars. however i heard from another guy recently that his welds arent too good. i am not sure but i would check it out and give him a call. another couple places with good reps are Hawley garage. they are good for alot of general repairs and small exhaust work. Another place to check is garys getty station. he is expensive tho. his shop is located right at route 6 and 590. Pranzos auto on 590 in lakeville might be a good back up to check out.
