Hi Britt, I remember your car when it rolled in late for the fall classic, 2000. I have a photo of it somewhere in my files...Glad to see you here and I'd re-up for NEOCC. For 10 bucks, its one of the best deals around with a great newsletter and all.
Who can I talk to about paying the dues for NEOCC. I am really kinda disappointed I didn't renew. I also need another sticker for my other IROC. If you can give me an email address. I can't seem to find any of my old newsletters. thanks

Originally posted by NeoSNK I'm from southington, 10 mins from warren. I'm amazed to see someone else from southington. Its pretty quiet here. Theres a little bit of street racing in boardman. Car shows every weekend, its pretty cool Hi Rob!
With nothing to do this morning, I'm going through some old threads and find this post. Sorry to have not seen it earlier Chris...if you're still out there. Welcome to the site.
hey everyone~ Do you guys know if anyone has planned a meet or gathering to open the season? If not i think we should make some plans to meet up somewhere, say maybe a dragstrip or a cruise night/car show. Let me know what is going on, by the way im in the sandusky area but willing to travel for a meet.
Wow, the year's not even 12 hours old and we have our first 'let's get together' post. I'm up for it anytime but this early is way too soon to try to organize anything. Once we get closer to spring we'll start another thread and let's hope this year, 2003 we actually do something.
LOL yeah im a little anxious to get my toy back out again. We really need to get together a lot more this year in ohio, i see pictures on here of all these third gens lined up and i think it would be so cool to get a bunch of us together and go cruising around. But yeah it is way too early still but dont forget about it, its seems like when anyone says "lets get together" it never realy happens.
I'm trying to figure out a midway point for you and let say robertg and still has plenty of car action...the Brunswick car cruise comes to mind, Saturday nights. I had hoped to get the camaro out for a ride this week since the rain has washed away a good amount of the tons of salt spread on the road. Looks like today may be my only chance before the next system arrives though so it ain't going to happen....rats. I do miss driving the car
i'm flexible as far as a place for a gathering. guys, even if we wanted to have a dinner gathering somewhere this winter, just to get to know each other.
That looks like a cool site but i cant get into the events section? do you need to be a member to acess that or what? Or is the site still under construction
If anyone's interested, on camaroz28.com we're having a cz28.com invades Cedar Point day on May 10th, look in the events forum over there. Hopefully everyone can make it out for t&t Friday at Norwalk the day before. We're gonna caravan out there.
Plus some of the guys from the NE ohio area are trying to get a dyno day togther in Hudson.
Hey guy's. I know this is an old post, but I thought what the heck. I've been coming to this site for a couple years now, but never tried to look up other ohioans before. I live in Vermilion. Which is right on the lake, and smack dab in the middle of the state. I have an 89 GTA White w/ grey leather....I think I've seen tomster03 driving around my neck of the woods....N.E. way. The reason I'm bringing back such an old post: I help run a haunted house here and it has three HUGE parking lots (est. 150 cars max., maybe more) and if your thinking what I'm thinking, It's October, our cars are about to go bye-bye for the winter, and I can probably swing 1/2 off for third-gen owners. Soooo, If anyone is interested, drop me a line @ jason_griffaw@yahoo.com
yeah that sounds good to me....... I am from the Bellevue area and i went to school with tomster03 he is living out in wakeman now so you prob do see him. I would def be interested in going.... let me know the date.
I would need at least 10 people to get a discount....but we work something out. camarokev, it would probably be on a Sunday, ( we are open every Fri, Sat, Sun from the last weekend in Sept. till the last weekend in Oct. If you could help get other 3rd gen's in on this,(or even other 80's GM's for that matter) I could even make a yearly event out of it. And maybe even bust out the grill and have a cookout or something.....I have a lot of resources, and I think that this could be a great thing.

I'm from Elyria, Ohio and it's good to see so many in Ohio here. Won,t be long and I'll be putting the car for the winter. Planning what to do to the car come early next spring. So many parts to buy, so little money!!
cc 82Z-28
That's possible 89. Maybe next year we'll get together at Annabelles or eastlake. In fact I just saw a red 89, t-tops shooting down 20 today past Pizza Hut...you by chance? Post a photo...
Nope, that wasn't me. I don't have a pic just yet. I was hoping to get a decent one, maybe even one up in Fairport w/ the lake or one of the marinas in the background. Sooner or later I'll get one posted ... but, it's getting close to putting it up for the winter.
Hi guys I'm new to the board. I've been living in ohio my entire life. I used to live in Hudson (Northeast part) but I got a job back in July and have since moved to Columbus. I have an 86 Iroc but the problem is it's back at my parents house in Hudson, with a junk carb, so I have to fix it or tow it down here. I used to frequent the Solon car shows a couple summers back, good stuff. I recently went to Good Guys this summer in Columbus, it was awesome.
any racin at dragway 42 this weekend? im going there to try out the newly ported heads. it is supposed to be 65 degrees and cloudy, sounds like good et. weather to me. hopefully ill see some of ya there.

no gatherings that i know of, but the race at dragway 42 was rained out and i dont know if there are any more runs this year! i hope so cause i want to try out these fully ported alluminum heads i just finished up. car feels great, but i need times to back it up.
gary, i'll probably drag you along to a couple of the gatherings that the cleveland area members do. we mainly gather over at 3go, in the midwest/plains board.
Sounds good to me rob... I've been itching to get out somewhere. Unfortunately the car is officially down for the winter, so if I go anywhere with ya we're riding in the red car lol.

all depends on how much snow we get.
we might be cruising around in the van. think i should pimp it out like cheech and chong?:lala:
I live in Bellevue, OH. Which is very close to sandusky and the norwalk members. I have never seen either of those cars around here. I own a dark blue IROC-Z. In pretty good shape and I am always up at the raceway. If you guys wanna get together hit me up.

I think you need to make a shaggin' wagon..... curtains on the windows, heart shaped bed in the rear, puffy seat covers and steering wheel cover, fuzzy dice on the mirror, some 20" still-spins, and of course shag carpet.
