you sir, have a sweet setup.
i gotta see this and the ls1 in person.
i like the stance and the controls install.
i'm sure i won't like the price though, i know those setups are bank!
Well the parts cost me $2500 and the labor was $1000. So its really high. But its well worth it. There is no way that i could of done that myself. I wish that was my ride stance LOL... My exhaust is to low to the ground. In those pics its sitting on the exhaust. I love it!! YES THE FENDER IS NEXT!!! LOL. Thanks for the love
Very nice. My obsession with wieght is probobly sounding like an eating disorder to some by now, lol, but I gotta know how much extra wieght? Any pics of the compressor/tanks, etc?
The wheels are Boze Friction. 18" all around. 18x8 in front and 18x9 in the back there isnt a deep dish in the back cause im using the 4thgen rear. Its the same lip as the front. The tires are 275 in rear and 245 in front.
Im not sure how much weight it put on... Dont really care LOL....
THAT FENDER IS NEXT!!! Just going to get the whole car painted again.
Do you think you could take the time and do a comparison on how the basic ride quality is different from original, how it reacts with potholes and of coarse, a good breakdown on the cornering on rough surfaces???
Thanks for posting the shot of the guage; it's a really clean install and I've been curious to how the controls worked....

its all the way dropped!!! LOL... Well, how can i put this..... FACTORY SUCKS!!! LOL... It doesnt even come close to what the air bags do. way better than lowering springs, and coil overs. I mean if you cant afford the air bags then the next best thing is what i just mentioned. But people told me that for an 89 camaro it feels like a 2007 car... Its really smooth. I havent took it to the limit just yet. Still trying to get the feel for it.
Im going to keep the same color but its going to be even more deeper red. Cause the primer i used sucked up the color. Should be ready to go. The guy that im getting it done only takes cash (deals with insurance) so have to save up for the rest of the car.
I will get more pics of the wheels for yah when the weather clears up. to cold to wash. LOL
THANKS FOR THE GREAT WORD!!! lets me know that my hard work paid off.
That looks amazing man. I though just an airbagged RS would look a little odd, but that hood brings the whole thing together. Thats incredible sexy, great job!
Do you have adjustable parts in the rear? If so, I would do all 4. I wanted a 4 wheel alignment on mine and I told him that I had all the adjustable stuff in the rear and you could clearly see that the axle isn't centered but he still just did a 2 wheel and told me that these cars aren't adjustable. I said, no, not from the factory but look at it, it's not factory. Now I need to replace my front tires. We faught for awhile but I got screwed. This was at Tires Plus so I hope you have someone worthy do it.
yeah i talked to they guy and told me that i just need the front. The rear has an adj. bar just to center the rear and adj torque arm. Thats it. I dont think i need the rear to be messed with. Just ask the guy to center the rear to the car. Should be it.
cant really do anyting about the tranny cross member cause its an auto. They guy did a great job as it is. Maybe later down the road i will cut into the body to fit the exhaust. I need to get new shocks for tha rear.
